Big Brother 17

She did make the right game move of sending Jason home, just not the right way to go about it.

I hate Vanessa's need to constantly justify her decisions, but, strategically, if she can get away with spreading the blame, why not? It helps alleviate the target on her back, and this is, after all Big Brother. It's like James quoting Boogie the other night, "We bounce checks here." My favorite of all time is still Dr. Will, and he did whatever it took to win. He was brash, he was bold, and he even told everyone he would lie to them. The purpose of the game is to win, and lying and misdirection are to be expected. It never ceases to amaze me that every year at least one person gets caught off guard by lies. It's part of the game. Nice is for real life. Inside that house, you're playing for half a million dollars.

Is J-Mac everybody's favorite at this point?

J-Mac
James
Vanessa
Twins
Meg (she's not really cool, but just being nice and generally cheerful goes a long way with me)

I usually only like 1 or 2 people, so this is a pretty good season as far as likability goes.

He is mine, not sure about any of the rest. Don't care for James, Austin, and Jackie.

Like I said before, I watch BB more to see the strategies unfold than I do to root for particular players. I have my favorite(J-Mac) but I really like to see how the players think and act. So far, despite her constant paranoia, Vanessa leads in strategy. Her and Shelli were neck in neck, imo, until this week. Clay has been deadweight to Shelli, and he's finally dragging her down.

Honestly, the only player I just can't stand is Clay. His smugness irritates me. Shelli's almost dipped to that point, but not quite yet. The only other time I get bothered is when one of the twins starts one of their "oh my Gawd" rants. I like them, but those rants are annoying.

Dr Will is the best player to play the game, followed closely by Derrick. Vanessa's constant claim that she doesn't want blood on her hands is also annoying, especially given all the blood she did get on them with Jason's ousting. But, like you said, if she spreads the blame, she can sneak through. That was laughable when Shelli tried to claim, right in front of V, that they had nothing to do with Jason going home. Some balls on her.

Clay's won one Veto. Shelli's won 2 HoH's. I think she's far more of a threat than Clay. If I'm James, I'm gunning for Shelli. She's a better game player than Clay.

Meh I would still rather go against her than Clay, plus I kind of hate her face.

J-Mac i my favorite, then James, then idk really. I don't dislike anyone but not really a fan either. Austin is pretty annoying to me though.

this is what Becky, Jackie and V were talking about last night. Becky said there isn't that one person left that everyone hates and thinks is an a$$hole and must go.

Definitely Dr Will is the goat. I would like to see Derrick play again with a big target on his back, like Will and Dan did and see how he would do. Will won they helped Boogie win, Dan won then finished second (should have won twice IMO). Playing a second time with that target and doing well, might move Derrick to second for me. Rachel is probably top 3 for me right now. Janelle is pretty high on my list even though she never won, she was a comp beast.

Oh yeah, Dan was great too. The only top 3 Rachel is in for me is most annoying person ever to live, ever.

Lol she was super annoying...but she was really good too. CBS all access has all the seasons and I recently watched season 2 again, Dr Will might be the most charming SOB I've ever seen on TV.

I cannot figure out why CBS wanted so much for those two to be famous. Between their 2 stints on BB and TAR, plus her recurring role on a CBS soap, it seems like they have dirt on someone or related to a producer.

Just caught up on some over night talks. There's a possibility James pulls down one of the two and puts up Vanessa(slight possibility). If he goes that way, he better talk with J-Mac and Becky to secure their votes, imo. If he puts her up and she doesn't go, he'll be in the middle of a bloodbath. I think she has the votes of Steve, Austin, and the Twins. All she would need is one more between J-Mac or Becky. Most likely though, James leaves noms the way they are. PoV Ceremony will be held later today.

don't be stupid, James!

The James gang is so full of themselves. Now I hope Shelli stays, teams with Vanessa, and picks them off one by one. After their lovefest last night, I want to see James, Jackie, Becky, and Meg go home. I wish JMac could win, but unless he has some strategy he has yet to reveal, I don't see him making it to the final two.
