Big Brother

Waiting for VN's reviews of this season and the cast members. We watched a short video of 3 former houseguests coming back on and firing some sort of time gun to go back and change the house so that they could win their seasons. It was horribly cringy. Hopefully this season is better, becuase I watched the first 23 seasons. But, we skipped 24.
It was a pretty awful premier imo. It felt like it was catered to children honestly and some of the challenges were pretty awful. Reddit and Twitter were already up in arms about the optics of who is on the block despite the fact is was basically as random as it could be. Didn’t really get to see much of the cast so hard to form too much of an opinion. The guy from Gatlinburg seems fun, but probably has no chance of winning.

Half assed while doing other things. Hasn't been all that interesting thus far and several kind of annoy me. You?
Same. My interest got piqued when I read one was kicked out for using a derogatory racial term. Imo, the beginning is always the worst. Too many people. It doesn't get good until several people have been evicted.

I feel like the premiers are always terrible but this one was especially bad. IDK why they can't get it right. So much standing around and moments where nobody is talking or doing anything.

Also, it feels like they've gone cheap on audio production quality. Anybody else notice that? It's kinda like the sound mixing took a hit.

I cannot think of a season in a long time that did not feature a Tennessee fan. I was waiting to see if I'd see a Vols shirt pop up in a diary room interview, and sure enough, on Sunday's episode, Alyssa was wearing one.
Bump

What was the point in extending the 5-person alliance to an 8-person alliance when the HOH didn't nominate anybody nor have any real threat from either nominee? I swear, if you just watch a few seasons of BB it's easy to see big alliances are a problem. So many bad moves in this young season.

I'm liking this season. Not that I like Cameron, but his having power 2 of the last 3 weeks has been great for TV. The last nom ceremony was so good.

Cam seems like he might be a creep as a person, but he’s great as the BB villain. Hope he can cause some more chaos, but he trusts Jared too much it seems.

Not really feeling this season. Too many people that just annoy me. Maybe it'll get better in a couple weeks ago when they start getting rid of people that actually have a chance of winning.

I don't really find any of these people likable except Matt.

Anyone watching this year? Cast is awful. Doubt I last much longer.
Yeah, not a fan of this cast either. Basically just rooting for anyone to get rid of Angela at this point. Tucker is somewhat entertaining to me because he’s so sloppy, but he’s the only one

I like this season so far. The cast is bad from a likability standpoint, but I think it's entertaining. It hasn't been stale, that's for sure.

Angela - great TV
Brooklyn - boring
Cam - undecided
Cedric - can't stand him
Chelsie - my favorite player
Joseph - fkn weasel but solid TV
Kenney - likable guy but not made for this show
Kimo - very likable, IMO, and OK TV
Leah - very likable and good TV
Lisa - couldn't stand her
Makensy - likable and good TV
Matt - likable and good TV
Quinn - unlikable but good TV
Rubina - likable but basic
T'Kor - WTF even is she?
Tucker - potentially this generation's evil Dick

T'Kor comment made me laugh. Very true. Those hats are just awful.

Tucker is a weird dude. Really weird.

Other than these 2 along with Angela and Kenny I don't think I could name the other players.

This season is so entertaining.

I finally figured out what's up with T'Kor....she can't say Rs correctly. So she grew up all over the place and adopts different components of local accents and throws you off the scent that she has a speech impediment*.

These people are so stupid. Tucker may go home on his own team's week, and this already happened this season. T'Kor acts as if this isn't even a possibility. Why is everybody so scared to put people up? It's ridiculous.

Angela has one real, actual ally in the house and she's so insecure she turns on him because he showed her too much trust, LOL. Tucker is a dope for aligning with her in the first place, and he still wants her to stay. I get the idea that he can show her trust and forgiveness and gain her back as an even stronger ally, but she's crazy and she'll flip out again. I think that would work on somebody like Tucker who is reasonable, but she is not.

*A weird aside. I actually met a cute girl in college who told me she was South African and let me believe that for a couple months. I found out from somebody else she was from Washington state. I asked her about it and she said she used to have a horrible lisp and she figured out if she copied her neighbor's SA accents, she could focus enough to eliminate the lisp. It's easier to just tell people she's from there. Totally reasonable, but couldn't get past the lie because there was plenty of time to clear the air, so I moved on.

It has became one of the most entertaining seasons in awhile for me. Such sloppy gameplay lol Tucker making everything worse for himself with the AI instigator power has been hilarious. He was not made to blow things up in secret, he thrives blowing things up in everyone’s face.

Seems like every HOH sends their allies home because they want to put pawns up instead of other players they are not working with.

I've quit watching, the players that I liked have either been voted off or have revealed characteristics I don't like...... I wish they would send those voted off to a different house then when the numbers match in both houses America votes for which house to send home.... the current strategy for all these shows is to vote off the likable and the strong....shouldn't that lead to extinction?
