Trust me guys, it wouldn't surprise me if Nance has a better overall career than Tebow. His mechanics are unprecedented and he will be the smartest starting QB in America next year.

*type* of player Nash is at QB being a possible future of college football. He will probably have a tough time under center taking snaps...but may be a quick study and pick it up well in the spring. I can't predict what's gonna happen, but I think Nance is a great get. Who knows what kind of offense UT might be using in coming years considering opposition, our own players abilities, etc? The "pro" drop back QB's are now throwing passes on two steps a lot more now...how many long balls did Peyton throw at the Jets the other day? I think it is just possible Nash may be throwing shorties to Hunter, Milton, Ambles, Meline, Rogers, etc....and watching them scamper as the defenses collide into their own players like bowling pins. He's a very smart football player and his arm strength is at least as good as that kid named Danny W. at Florida who threw about a thousand tds against the Vols. I do notice offenses are changing a lot in ncaa football. It *might* be the future at UT, too. But what do I know, I don't even have cable teevee. :)

yea and when reading these stats, you have to take in consideration he was taken out at halftime in 7 of their 15 games....due to Calhoun whipping their opponents!!!!

im excited about this kid!.

Lets get him on the field first. Then see what happens. I would be "happy" if he becomes a Tee Martin or an Andy Kelly. UT can win with "that" kind of player!

You are either related to Nash Nance or you're not for real! My guess is that you think it is funny to try and get people to argue with you or agree with you blindly. Either way, your "Nash is a god" routine is getting old.

I don't know if you believe Nash is the best recruit we've ever signed or if you actually think he is a joke. It doesn't matter to me. I suggest you give up the campain though or folks a lot meaner than me are going to come down on you hard. Trust me.... it's old, it's not funny, and you are not making any points.

Now, for what it's worth, I think Nance might have a chance to be a pretty good QB... the number of stars a player has coming out of high school (particularly at QB) does not determine how he will perform in college. The success of a college QB has much more to do with what is between his ears than how tall he is, how hard he can throw or how fast he runs. JMO

Someone else said he was no Manning, so that's when I threw someone out that I think he may compare to. At least he reminds me in some ways of Tebow.

You said that you hope neither gets to play, you are making a judgment of the ability of both Nance and Lamaison. Jim Chaney apparently likes Nance, and I would venture to say he is more qualified than you when it comes to making calls on QBs. How is that acting like hatvol? Oh I forgot, you are just another in a long line of less than quality posters that would rather make stupid claims than defend your own statements. So, do you know more about the development of QBs than Chaney or not?

I think you are reading way too much into asking about whether he is like Tebow. Tebow started as a high school player too. He had to work his way up to being the player that he became. He was not a superstar right out of high school. I saw him play when he first started at FL, and they only brought him in to run the ball. He did not even throw. The comparison is more of a rough comparison at the high school level--not to Tebow after he acquired the skills to win the Hiesman trophy.

Check my past posts and see how many times that I've been a "jackass" to someone. "bro", you're the jackass in this thread. the guy I'm responding to is just playing with us. He doesn't believe what he says. Check his past posts. His last thirty posts are all the same stuff about Nash Nance. It's obvious to me that I is just trying to yank our chain. I'm actually trying to help the guy out. I've been attacked on here for much less that what he is doing. If one of us is "wound to tight" than it's you!

AA North GA football isnt exactly stellar competition and thats being generous but he does have upside ........that upside is DARICK:rock:
