Biggest Vandy UT game ever?

It was a big game on 11/28/98 when the Vols won 41-0 to remain undefeated.:)

The Vols clinched their second consecutive SEC East Division title with a win in Nashville. Tennessee dominated once again, holding the Commodores scoreless and limiting them to 174 total yards.

Tee Martin had 241 yards passing and 1 TD, while Travis Henry led the team in rushing with 136 yards and a touchdown. Peerless Price added 181 yards receiving and a touchdown.

We lose it and the program is at the very, very, very, bottom of hades. 4 losing seasons in a row, first time since 1903-1906, not to mention we may very well not even show up to play kentucky and we could lose 8 games leaving ohio state as the only team to not lose 8 games. recruiting could take a hit as well. losing to both these teams might also raise more questions about the assistant coaches and their abilities to get the team focused and prepared, which they have failed to do so at all this season when we have played away from neyland stadium.

Vandy is in a great position for this game. If they win, they get to rub it in all of our faces. If they lose, they get to say, "Big deal, we're Vandy."

By "big" I mean to Tennessee, not in a national perspective. Cannot imagine losing 2 years in a row much less on our home field "big". One Tennessee, keep TN orange, take back the state, Our State "big". If you don't understand what I mean by "big" then your not a real fan IMO.

Zero chance this team loses to UK regardless of the Vandy outcome

Whomever we play, if the outcome depends on a bowl appearance which brings the added benefit of:

1) more practice time
2) TV coverage
3) selling points to recruits
and
4) a better season ending regarding "W" vs. "L"

then yeah, it is a "big game".

I'm not saying it will happen, but if the Vols kick Vandy's teeth in, I could see Franklin crying like a little girl in the middle of the field surrounded by massive piles of his own feces.
