Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and the Future of Global Finance

Even my dad that is totally not techy and is not on social media is making $$$$ on $ADA!

ADA is awesome!! Smart contracts go live next month and people are getting in at the last minute.

I have been staking mine on Yoroi for a while. Hopefully it will pick up steam once people get tired of the ETH gas fees and move on over to ADA.

Did you read what he actually said?

He is 100% correct that if we actually had to pay for wars with real money collected through taxation, then Afghanistan and other wars like it do not happen. Do you think anybody is supporting our efforts in Afghanistan if $200/month is coming out of our paychecks and going directly into the war chest?

Let them rely on the printing machines while we keep packing our bags. It will be a glorious day when the main stream capitulates and starts promoting the new digital assets. Then the sheep will be frothing at the mouth to get in when its too late.

ISIS member who sent Bitcoin from the UK to free jihadists from Syrian prisons is jailed for 12 years

A sales consultant, believed to be the first Brit convicted of being an Islamic State member, has been jailed for 12 years after being found guilty of using Bitcoin to help fund the terror group.

Hashim Chaudhary, 28, raised thousands of pounds before converting the money to Bitcoin to help free Daesh fighters from detention camps.

He also used Bitcoin to receive and transfer thousands of pounds, paying smugglers to liberate IS supporters from detention camps in Syria

Yeah... so for all of you BTC maximalists, this is not good news for you guys. The media campaign to tie cryptos to terrorism and crime is just one more tool the establishment uses to kill this off.

Or you could look at it like the BTC ledger helped us build a case against this guy and that this isn't a way to commit the perfect crime.

Exactly!!! Using the age old perfected method of brief cases of US dollars would have save a lot of extortionists and terrorist's some serious headaches.

BTC Maxis have bigger issues if they are still ignoring the potential of some Alt coins.

Don't lecture them Ras, let them learn their own lesson. Anti faux coin people are dumb and pro faux coin people are smart.

Yeah, you still don't get it.

BTC... Silk Road... money laundering... terrorism/that is what the average sheep/normie thinks of now whenever they hear about BTC or other cryptos.

You are losing the media campaign and the regulators are going to take advantage of that.

I have learned a lesson.
I did not buy enough and the bull run has started.
I feel sorry for those that missed out on the exponential gains of the past 4 months.

I get it. You think they are successfully running a fear campaign. I personally don't think people are generally scared of crypto.

The article in question isn't even spinning it to villainize crypto. The article explains how it was a digital paper trail. IDK why anybody who read it thinks it's part of a media campaign against crypto.

They caught everybody who broke the law involved with the silk road, including government agents who broke the law, and caught them specifically because of the ledger.
