BJ Coleman and the Mocs (merged)

Since 90 percent of this board doesn't recognize the difference between Division 1 FCS and Division 2, I can't honestly say that I am surprised that they don't understand the difference between the Southern Conference and the Southeastern Conference. In other words, you BJ slurpers are not smart people.

I don't know how Coleman would do if he were playing at Tennessee but the argument that Crompton looked good against Western Kentucky is stupid imo. Coleman may be beating up crap but he is also playing with crap. You can say Tennessee doesn't have the talent they are used to having but even Tennessee's back ups are more talented than WKU's starters. Crompton still managed to throw 2 interceptions. I doubt B.J. Coleman manages that feat.

This all pointless talk though because he is gone. Still, I figured the thread was already up so I might as well throw my 2 cents in. Crompton beating up on WKU is a pretty weak argument.

BJ is big man on campus at UTC. At UTK he was a minnow. Which is saying alot if he could not out perform Crompton.

Crompton wasn't even the starter when Coleman quit. He gave up when he still had a chance to win the job in the fall. It's not like CLK even picked Crompton over Coleman. Crompton was slightly ahead 4 months before the season started and Coleman gave up. Coleman might have won the starting job in the fall and enjoyed the CLK's overzealous loyalty as he cost UT game after game.

Those of us in Chattanooga have some good games to go to though!

Thanks UT!

Yeah you enjoy those games against Wofford, Western Carolina, Citadel? Uggh, who would go watch UTC play? We will see how well BJ does against Bama.

I've never seen a community more proud of a more insignificant athlete.

Dude's an SEC reject, and he's worshipped in the 'nooga. And when things don't go his way, he runs right back to his security blanket-town, and the morons who idolize him there. Coleman's destined to spend the next 30 years after graduation as the phys. ed. teacher at McCallie, telling all the 17 year old girls about what a studly beast he was when he was quarterback.

Coleman wouldn't have been the starter anyway. All that sand in his lady parts was weighing him down and making it hard to move around in the pocket.

Coleman quit. Kiffin didn't ask him to leave.

:good!:

I like Coleman, thinks it sucks he left UTK. But once again he LEFT. I think he has a chance to be one of those d2 draft picks.

Did the XFL reform?

and by d2 do you mean day 2, because Coleman doesn't play in Division 2

Just another excuse for the OP to get on his podium and preach the gospel of Crompton. In case you are unaware of it, no one on this board is impressed with JC. It is just apparent to us the coaches are playing who they deem best for the team, and we are going to support the coaches and the team.

I went to UTC to visit friends and took my beer funnel and I was big man on campus.

Say all you want about my Gators but don't take cheapshots at UTC or Chattanooga. You're from Murfreesboro for god's sakes.

I could take a computer there and probably be burned at the stake for witchcraft.

You live in Chattanooga and you can afford a computer? Sorry to offend you, mayor. :)

Cool, thanks. Well, the gators suck and I think they.......

Or not...... Way to let this guy go! :good!:

Crompton's obviously waaaaay better.....

Guess I can't blame CLK, can't get your QB with a sophmore throwing it all over the place.

He is putting up stats lower than Lamaison did at a higher level program. Too bad BJ could not have hung around and competed to be the back-up to our back-up.

(credit to BPV for this one) :hi:

Coleman has awesome numbers, but Crompton had awesome numbers against Western Kentucky too. Coleman is a decent runner for a QB. :twocents:

Coleman is a coward. If you are better than someone, get in the coach's face and MAKE him see it. Don't put your tail between your legs and run away.
Good riddance.
