BJ Coleman and the Mocs (merged)

A joke of a thread??? Why is it a joke? I'm not upset or defending anyone but Coleman is tearing it up at Chattanooga. He may be playing sub par talent, but I thought he was the best QB in the Orange and White game.
lol :lolabove::lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:yeah that means something

Or not...... Way to let this guy go! :good!:

Crompton's obviously waaaaay better.....

Guess I can't blame CLK, can't get your QB with a sophmore throwing it all over the place.
You have to understand with all the BJ haters....if he sucks at UTC, they'll claim they told you so. If he's doing great there...well, he still sucks cause it's a smaller school.

It's water under the bridge anyway...so let's just let it go. No benefit at all crying over spilled milk...just like the Boyd situation

Yeah, don't bring up the guy who hasn't seen the field for a 2-3 team that managed a loss to Maryland on Saturday.

I wouldn't say that he is stinking it up.

He made his choice. Why don't we just leave him alone. He decided to be a big fish in a small pond and there is not really anything wrong with that.

I think that he made a mistake, but maybe he didn't. He might just be sitting there watching Crompton just like Stephens is. No one knows that answer other than Lane and I doubt he is talking.

Why does anybody care? That's what I don't get? BJ wanted to play. He wasn't going to at UT. So he transfered? Why do any of you care, since you hated him to begin with?

And don't give me the quitter bullcrap.

I'd say the majority of us never want to talk about him again. Talk to our #1 Fan on his agenda to bring down the UT coaching staff before the end of their first season just because they won't play Nick Stephens.

And yet here you all are in this thread. I'd say you do want to gripe about it, cause it's fun.

We didn't start the thread, honey

I'm on a messageboard. I read and respond to things. It doesn't mean I seek out B.J. Coleman content and discussions to make my point heard above all others. I feel like there's a necessity to defend our staff right now because of ridiculously impatient "fans" who think it's cool to try and run coaches out of town before they've even given us a full season.

Waiting on how you're going to work Rettig into a post...

Coleman is a coward. If you are better than someone, get in the coach's face and MAKE him see it. Don't put your tail between your legs and run away.
Good riddance.

Actually, I think he's smart for transferring. He would have never seen the field at UT (and that's not because he wouldn't be the best QB on the roster), unless one of CLK's QB's got injured. He saw the writing on the wall. That's all CLK needed, "He won those games with FULMERs QB." Plus it's obvious it would hurt CLK's chances a getting a couple good QB's this year like he wanted to.

You mean like he did in the O/W game? Kiffin put him in on the 4 yard line and he led the team 96 yards to a td. Has JC EVER done that?

Way more answer than I expected, lol. Wasn't calling you out personally, just commenting. Like you are. :)

UT fans don't care. He's forgotten. A never was.

It's the Chattanoogans who can't let him go, and bring him up every week when Crompton struggles.

Amen, the arrogance of Chattanoogans is mind boggling.

18-24 for 200+ yds. 2 TDs, 1 Int...

CJ Leak's numbers from his last spring game. I don't recall anyone crying over him not being named the starter during summer practice.

I don't recall any Chattanooga homers crying to the papers about how Victor Ellis got screwed by Dennis Franchione for playing time, and he led the SEC in tackles the year before. The TFP and local press sure did a great job of ignoring that one, but when it comes to the upper class white kid, oh no...

Of course, none of them were rich white kids from Lookout Mountain, 2 parent homes and McCallie educations.
