He recruits 17 year old black kids, not UT fans.
I believe that it has also been reported that Brosnan administered CPR in the yet to be seen /alleged video . If this video indeed exists it will eventually be out there for all the world to see . Maybe Brosnan kicked Brooks?Maybe the CPR was because the officer knew that he was on video kicking a man he just shot and he was attempting to save his butt ?I have yet to see a video of that. a still picture is crap given the DA consistently lied during his PC and unethically presented slanted information prior to grand jury review, i have to see the kick on video to believe it. Furthermore, shooting three times at a violent felon while hes shooting a taser is within the GA law and every states law.
What allvol said was neither false or misleading, he is correct.Just because you say it is a political organization does not make it true. If you do some research you will find that BLM is not the same as ANTIFA nor is a political party. If you want to characterize it as something then at least do your homework. It is a "movement" not a "political party" and is has multiple chapters that are only loosely identified with each other. The groups are dedicated to non-violent civil disobedience to end and draw attention to racist acts, in particular those that are committed by the government. So even if the Athletic Department was making a contribution to BLM they would first have to decide what chapter in what city that contribution would have to go to, which seems highly unlikely. Certainly, it is nothing similar to contributing to a certain political candidate or party. That is simply flaming the flames of a very false and misleading narrative. However, if the Athletic Department wants to give the money to the Knoxville chapter of the BLM because our Student Athletes are members, I am 100% behind this idea. With that said, it's not my money and it's not yours so how they spend it is up to them.
But none of your money is going to this unless you choose to participate. How does this really affect anyone? They're not the ones paying for tickets and watching the games on CBS, SEC Network and ESPN. If you're looking at the title of this thread this isn't necessarily the best way for Pruitt to appeal to a fan base. If people are going to quit watching because of this like they say, it doesnt matter who he recruits.

Or you could just not buy one of the jerseys....In the article I read, Pruitt did not say “Black Lives Matter charities”, he said “Black Lives Matter”.
If it was a misquote, it needs to be fixed quickly. If it was not, after almost 50 years of being a diehard Volunteer fan, I am done with UT and anything associated with UT, including the football program.
In what game, and what color jerseys will they wear, to show their support for the murdered former St. Louis police officer David Dorn?
Jeremy Pruitt was hired to be our head football coach. He needs to stick to what he does best. If this is the future of UT football, I will not support it.
No doubt. Kinda like I call all tissues "Kleenex". The most well known is the default.
But we (now that we know) can help others to understand not all Black Lives Matter Charities are affiliated with the political group.
It is truly short sighted. This idea that our country can prop one group up on a pedestal as the most oppressed and needy, then fill up their coffers with cash to fix vague problems with no set expectations, is absurd.
One, you're going to generate resentment among poor whites, Latinos, asians, etc.
Two, you're not necessarily even fixing anything for poor blacks.
He doesnt need to appeal to our fans. He needs to win, that cements his future contracts with us or someone else. Recruits make wins, wins set future earnings.

Right, but if a significant portion of the fan base revolted and revenue to UT dropped as a result of this stunt, then he does need to appease fans because buts in seats are what pays his and others contractsHe doesnt need to appeal to our fans.
