Bo Davis (Bama) to leave his position due to allegation of recruiting violations

Since these are just allegations, why is he leaving? It is not like Tuscaloosa is a den of righteousness. He needs to stay and uphold the family tradition.

preemptive move, trying to keep the NCAA away. "Hey look we already took care of the cheater. no need to come around and investigate where the money was coming from, who authorized it etc etc"

I don't know that money is the issue in this particular situation.

"We" didn't get caught. Bo Davis got caught.

And, because of Bama's unwavering commitment to compliance, Davis was terminated. Can't have that king of thing going on.

Same ****ing thing. If you catch a coach, you caught the university. You are truly a dumbass.

Be like saying that ole miss isnt in trouble because not all their coaches cheated. Or UNC should be good considering not all their coaches changed grades. Or OJ shouldn't be on trial only his right hand for stabbing the two victims. I mean how's OJ supposed to know what righty was going to do with that knife?

Unwavering commitment my ass. He got caught and Sabes is trying to save face before he gets in big trouble.

You lost all credibility with your sn and when you offer advice on bama. Obviously you are as unbiased as a southern baptist in a gay marriage debate.

From the school that hired Lane Kiffin knowing of his past transgressions? This needed a blue font, sir.

Yes, Alabama got caught. Spin it however you like but the bottom line is the university is ultimately responsible.

That's why they let him go. The facts are, that the speed and proficiency of this case have shown the absolute integrity, fervor and devotion associated with Alabama's compliance office and the man we humbly refer to as, the coach.

For these reasons alone, it is my humble belief that this violation will remain as it rightfully was intended all along, secondary.

Bama is the dirtiest football program in the nation.....right behind Auburn.

All schools cheat to some extent, but these two take it to another level. Ole Miss is jealous and trying to catch up though.

They are looking, we are doing.

Ironically, that would be the same historical narrative we share in NC caliber football.

No jump higher Vols?

Don't really apply over here talking about Bama violations. It has more to do with the Vols gonna beat every team we play this year.

I was wondering if Bama had already given Kongbo cash before NSD.

Same thing, they cant punish if they dont know it yet. So ole miss is good then. Hell neither one of you did anything wrong.

What are the alleged violations?

Multiple impermissible contacts with out of state recruits. Bo Davis supposedly visited them during a dead period and then lied about it when questioned (you know, the unwavering attention to compliance our Bama fans speak of). It's been said that none of the recruits signed with Alabama. I wouldn't be surprised if Kongbo was one of them. I sure hope so and I sincerely hope we turned them in! The Alabama 247 guys are comparing it to the Joker Phillips' situation at Florida as a way to reassure their fans that no punishment will be applied to the program. No discussion of accountability has been made other than to throw Davis under the bus.

Your head coach recently made the comment he has aged 15 years in the last three. By the time this summer is over, the land of orange may all feel those dog years coming on.
