I definitely see what you're saying. For now, it seems like instead of copy image, are you able to use copy image address and paste it?

Also, on desktop, it allows you to just drag and drop the image into your post.

Both of these items are bad ux for dark mode. When they show as light with light colored text, they are impossible to read in either day or night.

I got one, just a minor issue. When you click on a thread and it goes to the new posts, the person that posted is covered up by the Volnation header, or whatever it's called.

That's an issue I found this morning. It's only happening on Android for some reason, but I'm looking into it.

@Freak I edited the sprite sheet - can grab it at this link:



It's slightly larger than the original because the color pallete was expanded, but not enough to make any difference in site performance (just a few kb) b

Looks like the sprite sheet was just used for the popup if there are multiple reactions available so that will come in handy if we add some of the others at some point. Do you have time to change the color of these? If not, I'll get to it later tonight.

You'll notice some differences when you log in today. There are lots of updates in the new board software. Things are going to look a little different and (hopefully) perform a little better.

Unfortunately, the updated screwed with the site design/theme (hence the reason for delaying the update until the last minute before game week), and while I have fixed most of it, there are some things I still need to update. Mostly subtle color/item background fixes. You might see some light bluish backgrounds that look out of place, but I'll get to it. I had to redo both our light and dark themes and also redo all of our mobile customizations.

If you notice something that doesn't work, have issues, or get errors, let me know in this thread.

If you find a cool new feature, that you think ads to the experience, post here and let others know about it.

I'm going to make a list of some of the color fixes that are needed and if you notice others (or anything else that looks "off"), let me know. And be sure to tell me if you're using the light skin/dark skin and whether you're using mobile.

Speaking of dark mode, you may need to re-select it from the styles link at the bottom of the page.

Light Theme.
1. non-selected page numbers above and below the thread list have a bluish hue.
2. hovering over read alerts in the dropdown menu is bluish
3. the tool bar in the reply box is bluish
4. There's a bluish bar at the bottom of the post new thread.
5. some of the orange buttons are some weird Texas orange when hovering over them.
6. Background of the new embedded text links is blue.
7. The like icon is blue. Should be orange. Anyone good at working with image "sprites"? lol

Dark Theme Mobile.
1. Alert dropdown background is a bright color.

Everything looks good.

EDIT: Nevermind, just clicked on it and it worked. The icon is now orange, so I suspect that was being addressed at the time.

yeah I thought it was pulling from the sprite page from inspecting the code in chrome. likely it was still cached when you first uploaded it and took a bit before the cache refreshed? Its orange on desktop for me now too. I can get the shade matching better...I used the correct orange when I made it - the technique I used to edit only used the hue, but kept the saturation and value of the original image which ended up making it a different tone.

NOPE.... as I have responded to posts in RF dealing with statements not directly relating to recruiting information, he has moved it and asked that I keep the RF pure with only that relevant info to the recruitment. So, I did not think requesting info on the update met that stipulation.

@Freak so on dark theme, the alerts are so bright that I can’t read them — it’s not consistently like this but when it it’s so bright it’s hard to read. Is this what you wanted it to be like?

If you're using dark mode, the alert colors are broken. I'm working on it.
