Definately a strange bird, his interactions with his wife and the female leads are odd, to say the least.

Love how the his boss told him to take the weekend off and go back home to be with his wife.

A few scnes later they show him, sitting with her over dinner. So stale of an enviroment. And he finally says something like, "Nice pot roast." Then they just close that scene up!

It started a bit slow, but I think it is really hitting its stride.

Which episode? I've been recording the season on DVR. I thought it started with potential but started to drag. I was considering deleting it.

I'm 4 shows in, having just watched "Anastasia," where the Klansman loses his ring.

Did Nucky pay the Fed agent to blast the eye witness that can finger Jimmy??
I suppose so, but was suprised to see him do that.

I'm interested to see where that goes, after "forgetting" the telegram about Darmody coming back to AC. It was either Nucky or Rothstein. I'm pretty confident that Rothstein's reach in the scope of the series is far greater than they let on to this point.

Good episode tonight, the story is getting good and thick.

Side note, Paz de la Huerta carries the shrubs well.

"You going to shot me now since I mouthed off?"

"I wasn't going to but you kinda talked me into it."

Great scene. The suspense of what is coming down the road.
Jimmy has become a stone gangster.

Looking forward to next season, plenty of room for the story to grow with that episode.

Man, I hear that. It is all set now. Season two is going to be much anticipated.

Jimmy and the Commodore hooking up and takin the damn thing down.

Side note...what would a million in 1920 be today? Good God. I collect the 1909 Tobacco cards and am in to that era of baseball. They always said Rothstein bet 3 mill on the series that he fixed, but what is the inflation effin rate on that? That is series money he gave..

Lord have mercy....Rothstein moved lines in that series. Black Sox shoulda won it easy, just that Cominsky didnt pay them good at all.

Figuring that the WS was about the only national betting deal at the time, he made out well
