As promised last week, Bonnaroo kept to its new Tuesday and Thursday update schedule, releasing the third in its Lineup Clue Game series. As fits the new Tuesday formula, this clue was a physical one and involved some scavenger hunting by Bonnaroo fans.

At 12:30 p.m. Eastern time, Bonnaroo posted a picture indicating that Clue #3 was posted to a tree at the entrance to the Woodland Cemetary in Des Moines, IA. It didn't take long for local Bonnaroo fans from the Inforoo message board and Facebook to get to Des Moines and get the clue, which reads as follows:

Joy on the North end, Spiritual shaking abounds, But does one believe?

Sleigh Bells was one of my favorite shows in 2011, but it may have just been because it was day 1, so I was properly trashed by the late start time.

I have heard a variety of things. I knew the lineup before release last year, only because of a christmas party held by AC in K-ville.

Regardless, what I have heard this year is Tom Petty. That's it.

Ever since inforoo went offline, it's hard to get good info about Roo now.

Did Tom Petty headline 3-4 years ago? I get confused.

If so, I'm surprised AC would go back down that trail

They headlined in 2006 with Radiohead.

It's been a while, so I wouldn't be surprised.

If Coachella pulls the Rolling Stones (at this point it appears they will), I would look for Roo to pull something like Daft Punk, or maybe even a David Bowie (he does have a new album coming out). Or maybe Paul McCartney.

Time flys...as I recall, Tom Petty played the Super Bowl that same year. I may be wrong on that?

No. That's correct. They headlined the Super Bowl that year and were announced the next day for Roo if I recall. The same thing happened when Springsteen played at the SB.

Me too. There is chatter on a English forum about a contract between AC and McCartney, but much like this site, gotta take it with a grain of salt. I wouldn't be surprised though.

I have been every year since 08 and keep saying every year is my last. it's just so hard to say no and if they get daft punk or paul McCartney then there is no way I can miss it.

I'm not really sure to be honest. I tried to go to the site on day and it was gone. I guess the mods were tired of paying for the site.

If Bonaroo's lineup was like Coachella's, I'd be sick to my stomach. That lineup is meh, at the very best.

Most def not the real deal as it uses last year's artwork. Would be a stellar lineup, though.

Honestly, I don't recall a "leaked" lineup poster that has ever been legit. However, I love festival lineup rumor season.

Waiting for the Hangout lineup with bated breath.

Eh. Pretty much everyone I would want to see I've already seen.

2011 was much (much) better IMO
