Boo Carter Penalty?

boo did to bama what bama has done to us for years which is show some attitude. I do not mind this at all. The weaker player threw hands and boo set up shop the rest of the night and dominated

If you win, you get to talk a lil smack. thats ball
Talking isn't the problem. Taunting is literally a penalty. Throwing a punch in response is most always offsetting penalties.

It very well could have but I think that’s what make great players great. He got under the dudes skin, he got him to react and very negatively hurt the team. You could argue that trash talk nearly sealed the game. Put them in an unwinnable position.

Hats off to him. Hope to see him piss off a few more WRs during his time here.

It personally made him a favorite of mine. I might just order a Boo 👻 Carter jersey.
It definitely worked out this time. I have enjoyed the tenacious way he plays throwing his body around with reckless abandon.

some you need to take the orange glasses off. Arion Carter came rushing across the field to settle Boo down before the shove. Boo was very lucky he didn't get flagged too
Careful, some of the folks who have had accounts here since 1988 will tell you how wrong you are or that you are spewing venom, but those of us who know football know that this was a huge risk that thankfully went Tennessee's way. I am glad it did. I think Boo is a huge part of the future at Tennessee. I want him to continue to grow into the elite player I think he really is going to be. Being an elite player is knowing how to pick your spots. I am good with trash-talking, but at that stage in the game, it was an unnecessary and huge risk.

He went over the top? How? What did he say? Oh that’s right, you don’t know. You’re just another “I’m the moral compass for all things.” Also, Boo didn’t slap him, in fact, replay shows he didn’t touch him.
He made the attempt but didn’t connect. I was there and Boo jawed all nt. It doesn’t bother me unless he gets flagged. He needs to learn to walk away after the play, though.

I know exactly what was being said because I had a deaf friend growing and learned how to read lips.

Boo said that tran women are really just men. Bama wr replied by calling him uncultured and asked him where his maga hat was.

Boo replied that he actually left at at his mommas house last night. That’s when the bama player accused him of toxic masculinity and resorted to physical violence.

Boo then laughed and said you fell right into his trap before shouting that he’s really a “build back better” kinda guy and that he was just trolling.

Wonder what he said to make the bama receiver push him?

Looked like simple trash talking to me.

One of the announcers said he should have gotten a penalty as well but I don’t agree.

That analysis just shows their bias. They have no way of knowing who started the VERBAL banter.

On top of that it should have been a dead ball targeting call. Two hands to the neck and head area was it not. Glad we did not hit back.

I felt he definitely went over the top. The shoulder shrugs and vibrating helmet showed he was very animated. He is very lucky the penalty was only one way. Not just what he said the slap back too. He is a firey guy. I just hope he can bottle that up.
You don't bottle that up. You channel it. You want players to play with an edge.

You’re a bit biased and not good at hiding it. I’m glad they didn’t but refs had every opportunity to call that one both ways. Carter literally took a swipe at him AND it’s usually the retaliation that takes the flag which was Carter.

By that point in the broadcast they weren't pretending any more. They were outright pulling for Bama. They glossed over the illegal procedure non-call that kept Bama's first scoring drive going. There were multiple "timely" calls that favored Bama that the announcers ignored.

McElroy should not be allowed to call Bama games. He can't help himself. Whoever their "rules expert" was... he pretty much reflects why Bama has gotten away with so much over the last several years.

Well one of the announcers was a Bama alum who couldn't hide his bias if his life depended on it. so there's that. Boo was chirping, the Bama player got physical.
Exactly. Sick of these Bama biased announcers.
