Boots, shoes and flip flops. Approved by OSHA or NCV67 but not both

I'm at the age now where comfort is more important than looks. I ruined my feet all those years in the restaurants caring about looks more than comfort. I'm paying dearly now.

I don't care much for the thick sole of the Monster either. Then I put it on. That's all I got to say bout that.

I wish the Stratus and Monster came in the Cloudflow colors. Those 2 you posted are my 2 favorite colors.
I have heard that all the extra cushion throws off your natural balance and response and that it's actually best to try and get something that just protects your feet and is flexible so you can move. Not sure how much I believe of it. I first noticed the Adidas Yeezy had a foam like stuff that they used for support and they was comfortable and then all the other brands follow in line I have nike metcons that have a foam and I have seen them in other brands now different name for the material but it's foam cushion and a breathable upper with crazy prices. Those shoes that you all have been showing I never heard of them till you all started showing them .

I was afraid they would have too much cushion for me that's why I got the Flyers. But after wearing them I had to try the Stratus, which have more cushion. They're so comfortable but still have good support. When I saw the Monster, I just couldn't resist trying them. It took me a couple of days wearing them all day to get used to them, but now, I'm sold on them.

They're expensive. I'd even say too expensive, but I don't think I could ask for a better feel. So it's worth it.

I'd never heard of these until Bill told me about them. I've had Brooks, Under Armour, Nike, Adidas, New Balance etc. but I like these best. The Monster only weigh 9.70 oz. Really light.

Yes . Nike and Adidas are two well made brands that have earned there reputation.
Reputation for what? Maybe lasting 300 miles if you get lucky? Being extremely narrow and only properly fitting very specific feet? Being made in sweatshops by little kids?

I Like Adidas way better than Nike and so far I like the On's Flyer and stratus better than any "sneaker" I've ever had.

I was wrong about the Monsters though. They're extremely comfortable, but I can't wear them for my power walking. I wear them as my "daily drivers" now and they're great. But given a do over, I'd buy the new color Stratus instead.

Supporting men playing in women's sports comes to mind.

Supporting the Vols come to mind and if you think Ons or whatever they are called isn't made over seas then you are foolish.

Reputation is earned like from brands and staying power and you pay for it like a Fender I would pay more for it than a Squier and I would never pay a Fender price for a Squier.

On is clear that its shoes are not “made in Switzerland”, although Coppetti doesn't dismiss the possibility of Swiss-based manufacturing in the future. Like nearly all footwear producers, the company relies on contract manufacturers. They are located largely in Vietnam, where On works with three such contractors.Aug 19, 2019
