That’s the ones I had. Very comfortable. Lasted about 6 months

Does anyone have experience with Topo running shoes?

I trudged out to the local running store and listed the parameters: spinal stenosis, balance issues, left partial knee replacement, don’t care about appearance other than absolutely no pink or glitter or other idiotic crap, worn for walking, no running unless maybe there’s a guy with a knife (can’t outrun a bullet), mile and a half a day on crazy broken sidewalks. And apparently that equals Topos, especially for the spine thing (less heel-to-toe drop.)

The toe box is crazy wide, but somehow the heel and midfoot fit well enough that my feet don’t slide around. No blisters yet. My toes and balls of my feet are very happy.

These are men’s Phantom 2’s; didn’t have my size in women’s. I’m considering ordering a second pair in women’s styles to have a slightly less radioactive glow in the dark vibe, but I’m curious how they hold up, etc.

Why are you doing this? The running. I mean, what's your main motivation? Losing weight, stress relief...? Whatever it is I'm sure you've lost some weight. How much?
