Boycott Organic Food?

I just like to know generally where my food came from and generally how it was produced. I'm fine with "organic" or "non-organic" (whatever that even really means), so long as I know the general details.

Source: me.

Same here.

I get the feeling that people who think Mac users are smug have never used one for any meaningful amount of time, and only get on the computer to browse the internet and play video games. Oh, and make powerpoints.

Don't feel too bad. We aren't saying all Mac users...

I had a roommate whose Dad worked for Apple. He was insane about Apple's superiority. He had all the free Apple **** you could ever want and he still bought a PC. That didn't keep him from bagging on Microsoft any chance he got. Go figure.

I used MACs all through school. Preferred PC. You don't find the same smugness in PC users - that's what I've found.

I used Mac in school, PC at home. I prefer the OI of Mac. I like the price of PC. I'll use either on, doesn't matter to me. I will never use an MP3 player that isn't an iPod, though.

same. Prefer windows, for whatever reason. Not saying jaguar or leopard is shii, but I like windows much better.

Does it integrate with iTunes?

My setup doesn't, but Songbird does do import/export to iTunes, not real time sync though. What does iTunes offer me that I can't get elsewhere? I installed it for the first time only because I bought the iPad and had to do an initial sync, haven't used it since.

Rockbox supports MP3, OGG, FLAC, Wav, AC3, AAC, MP4, ALAC and WMA... Songbird is extendible (based on Firefox) and allows me to manage my music collection nicely. It scrobbles to Last.FM, allows me to do tag management, grabs lyrics if I want it to, generates playlists, etc, etc.

to each his own. I've only ever had an ipod since cd players went extinct.

I've had my iPod touch since the day they were first released. Still going strong and I've dropped it on concrete several times. I see no reason for me to switch manufacturers.
