Brad Nessler replacing Verne at CBS

Why Gary Danielson a Big 10 guy is involved with the SEC by CBS is beyond me. Out of all the schools in the SEC who for years have produced graduates and players working in broadcasting they had to bring a Big 10 homer to rub into the SEC fans faces week after week.

Or they could get a REAL SEC homer like David Pollack..... NOT!!!!!!!!!!:salute:

Also, it looks like Mike Tirico is leaving ESPN MNF to join NBC and call Sunday Night games and Sean McDonough (who is my favorite college football play by play man) is replacing Tirico and will be calling games with Gruden.

Wasn't McDonough the "Stumbled & Fumbled" guy? He's fabulous.

I know many dislike Verne, but I actually appreciate his passion and mannerisms when calling games. I'll miss him. I still remember "Oh my Goodness!" and "CJ Fayton, how do you do!"

Brad is my favorite commentator. I wish that he would take both Vern and Gary's place this year. Brad alone would be better or if CBS would get Todd back. Brad and Todd would be much better than the former two. Jmo of course

Smurf, is that you in your avatar, or just a picture you selected?

CBS recently announced the 2016 season will be Verne Lundquist's last. Brad Nessler will be his replacement . ESPN has named Joe Tessatore to replace Nessler on it's prime time SEC broadcast. Great move by CBS(IMO) and ESPN ! :clapping: Whatcha think?

i'm not a huge tessatore fan. he's good, i just think he's got zero personality, and when he tries to have one it comes off as rehearsed. jmo.

Not sure which forum to place this in, but Clay Travis has reported that Brad Nessler is leaving ESPN for CBS and will be replacing Verne. But he will first work NFL games before Verne leaves.

Heard the news first on Finebaum. Secondly you hijacked my post and failed to mention that Joe Testatore will replace Nessler on ESPN'S prime time SEC Saturday broadcast.

Hijacked the post? I'm confused. This thread started in April.
