Folks, we gotta give props to Jacques..I'm not sure there have been many other commits work as hard in trying to recruit teammates as this kid. He absolutely loves the thought of being a Vol. I talked to him right before he left for San Antonio and he was so fired up he could've run down there. If Willis turns, Jac and Miller gotta be thanked. Believe me, Jac ain't just drinking the kool-aid, he made the kool-aid!

I don't want him if was him that backed out either, I mean this kid is a high school senior he should be able to easily make up his mind about what school he would like to spend the next four or five years at.:crazy:

I spoke to Jacques Smith about Brandon Willis and he said there is a small chance that Willis re-commits to the Vols but he still thinks it's UNC so we'll see. He doesn't think UCLA is a player here because of distance but admitted he's not sure.

I am not saying that. I like to give kids the benefit of the doubt on a life long decision but he has been to every Tennessee home game. It wasn't like committing to Tennessee was a rash decision in this case. He knew what he is getting after that many trips to Knoxville and watching the coaching. To back out in this case and then want to come back doesn't make a lot of sense. Kids change their mind all the time when picking schools but rarely have this kids visited one place that many times. Some commit without even visiting. I have no idea how you could visit that many times only to back out and then want to come back. That's almost bi-polar.

LSU is probably the biggest threat to Tennessee for Markeith Ambles. Since they lost Mike Davis, Ambles has been more interested and he's always had a good relationship with Billy Gonzales even when he was at Florida.

Vol76...It does not make one difference who you or I want on this team...I will take this staff's decision over anyone on this board...I want Tennessee to be the best at all sports...this staff will do just fine...we may lose a recruit here or there, but, they will be replaced by someone as good or better...Go VOLS!

I'm pretty sure it was a joke. When I was a high school senior, I couldn't even decide what I was going to have for lunch, much less where to go to school.

How many times does he have to be seen in a power T hat or say he's a Vol.

:yes: "HE" said he is a Vol and no one else has said anything anywhere that I can find to the contrary!!!

I must have read the stuff about Ambles yellin'....
"Tennessee Hitch" on a route during practice or "Volunteers" during other parts of their drills on another thread NOT about Markieth. Is that right?
How could a player who obviously has got his head on right be messed up enough to be that vocal and then do an "about face" ???

Just asking....
