Agreed...there are some amazing QB coaches in the NFL & if Bray ends up with one of those, he'll be fine.
Jay Cutler might have been a better comparison. Both gunslingers, with big arms, who throw int's, because there ego gets in the way. Think they can make all the throws. And trying to always make the bug play will probably be his downfall in the NFL.

Tyler Bray never exhibited the demeanor, attitude, disposition, or (fill in your own word) that I hope to see in a Tennessee Vol. Bray was certainly not the only disappointment, but, by virtue of his position, he was the most visible. To me, he was like the second coming of Kelley Washington. Lord, help me for saying this, but I just don't want to win bad enough to put up with guys like that.
tearing it up in the NFL: Bray has ZERO in common with them. They are all mobile and very mature, for starters, two qualities (one physical, one mental) that Bray lacks. Toss in a total lack of leadership ability and I see Bray making a fairly quick exit from the league. One needs a helluva lot more than an arm to become a pro QB. I hope I'm wrong--he's no doubt a good kid with some talent and he had it tough with our crappy defense and coaching issues--but QBs need to have some fire and some passion, and I never saw that from Bray, who also never got it done when the game was truly on the line.
Bray needs to declare for the draft - he needs a big dose of humility. He's not a first round pick, not likely a 2nd or 3rd. He has become a distraction at UT. Obviously very talented, but lacks work ethic, self-discipline, and character to succeed in the NFL (or for that matter any further at Tennessee). He can't stay out of trouble and he has way too much "look at me" syndrome. For Coach J to start building a team, he needs to go so they can start fresh with younger guys. Bray will become another Todd Marinovich, Matt Leinhart, JaMarcus Russell or Ryan Leaf in fairly short order. Wait and see.....
If you ever wore the orange, you belong on the pedestal.I go back to Majors,Urbano,Cruze,Gordy and "Hacksaw", Kiner and even Fisher (RIP). I'm sure they would tell you to "be proud of men who wore the Orange and if you didn't like them, keep your mouth shut." One piss-poor first post. But Hey, welcome, another negavol on the board.
Bray could start with the Cardinals next year,,,,,,, I think he will be fine in the nfl
start in the nfl .
if ainge and casey couldnt make it no way in hell bray does
