Looking at everything I can find:
Party got out of hand.
Quarry Trail security guard called it in.
1: Sherriff's deputies arrive THE FIRST TIME and tell 'em to turn down the music and cool it. AND LEAVE.
2: Before the deputies get far, the music goes back up, so they return FOR THE SECOND TIME, TELL 'EM TO TURN DOWN THE MUSIC, COOL IT ...AND LEAVE!
3. Half an hour later: A FIGHT BREAKS OUT, GETS CALLED IN, AND BACK THEY GO FOR THE THIRD TIME!
And if you read what I've posted about this, I think some of it's funny, (fake ID ... but it is agin the law),
that drinking laws for most all states across America are ineffective and should mirror European law where children are taught to how to handle alcohol by their parents at an early age, before they even get out in public or behind a wheel; some wil get off the hook, some will run til they puke, and some may be sentenced to a judge to community service. And all of it will blow over by the O&W game. Players will grin at each other as they remember it in their old age, just like my friends laugh when we talk about gettin smashed, going pool hopping, gettin chased by the cops, and fled across the creek and up the mountain in Gatlinburg ... some didn't make it ... I did:yahoo:
But we DO have the laws. The party was out of hand. They were disturbing the peace. Deputies TWICE told em to cool it and left, then got called back for a fight. Officers are sworn to uphold the law. They did their job. If you don't like the drinking laws, their are plenty of groups working to change them.
In no way can ANYONE say the police were in the wrong the way they handled the situation. THAT position is so immaturely indefensible as to be just plain whack.
If you don't like being called so immature it's just plain whack, it's your problem grow up...join the real society of America, become a Man (with a capital M) if you can.
written as I thinks to me own self: I don know, might be too late for some. They'll forever call the police "Po-Po" in their sad state of arrested development.
