One could even argue OSU has a better resume to this point than Bama.

Is Bama the second best team in the nation? Probably. Will they give LSU the best game? Probably.

Doesn't mean it is fair. They have already played. If Bama wins, it means nothing, and certainly doesn't mean they are the best team in the nation.
