Bret Beliema - WISCONSIN

I have always thought he would transition to the SEC alot better than most coaches. Love their run game and the way they play power football. He makes pretty good money there now. He would be top 4-5 on my list, but most feel he would not leave WI.

He would get crushed in recruiting because they use the "gentleman's" agreement in the little ten according to him. He had a fit when Urban was hired and contacted a kid that was verbally committed to Wisconsin. Said that was not the way they operate in the little 10

I think he would be an outstandinG x and o's coach but I do not know how he would recruit in the SEC.

Bielema is not the brains of Wisconsin. Barry Alvarez laid out exactly how to be successful at Wisconsin and Bielema is just smart enough not to screw up. He would be a disaster anywhere else. His offense has been a mess this year without Paul Chryst and Russell Wilson. No, super pass, uber pass.

Please make it stop.

Please make Jason our new AD. He knows exactly who the new coach should be because he disagrees with every name mentioned and acts as if you're an idiot for bringing up someone who averages a 10-3 record in a major BCS conference with 3 Rose Bowl appearances, and three straight conference championships.

Yeah Wisconsin wouldn't be in the position they're in if Penn St and Ohio St weren't in trouble. Bielema is a joke and if you think he would make a good SEC coach, you need to rethink what a good SEC coach is. He isn't the reason they've had dominant running games, Barry Alvarez laid out the blueprint for Sconsy having success. Put Bielema in a rebuilding project and he would fall apart.

He replaced how many assts? Every coach has a bad season or two. Even the mighty Nick Saban ( which everyone seems to clone him)...

When its been 7 years since the last coach and the new ones had more success than his predecessor its not piggybacking anymore. 15 years from now and say 5-6 Rose Bowl appearances are you still going to be saying its "Barry Alvarez winning those games, he started it in '98 with Ron Dayne". At some point success and/or blame stop falling on predecessors and become a responsibility of the current man in charge.
