You are the one who mentioned a rematch. I'm just telling you they are a better team who has found a way to pass the ball and not fumble the opening kickoff. IMO the outcome would not be similar. Probably 34-24You are missing my point entirely.
No such conjecture is required. The games were played and Tennessee won. Those results should be respected by the AP voters. The facts don't care about our feelings.
Tennessee .... 40
LSU .............. 13
Alabama ...... 49

100% disagree. LSU at night or afternoon is not the same is an 11:00AM.So ? What does that have to do with Tennessee kicking LSU's butt at the line of scrimmage ? What does that have to do with Jalin Hyatt torching LSU's secondary for a 45 yard touchdown ? That was not a close game. It is absurd to blame it on the time of day it was played... as if LSU would have been able to cover Hyatt if the game had just been played 3 hours later.
There isn't much of a sample-size for these 11 am games. An SEC game will only kick off at that hour in the Central Time Zone, and will typically involve either a mismatched out-of-conference opponent ... or Vanderbilt. Nobody wants to play that early for a variety of reasons.100% disagree. LSU at night or afternoon is not the same is an 11:00AM.
I think LSU is a good team. I give them a decent chance against Alabama. I get tired of reading how much better they are at night, however. There isn't anything to support that. Most of their games vs Alabama are at night, and they almost always get their a$$ kicked. The one time they have beaten Bama recently was in Tuscaloosa (2019) and it was a CBS afternoon kickoff, of course.I think LSU is very talented and have improved over the course of the season as a team. At least he blames his own coaching in the interview, but I still don’t like BK.
There may be some truth to the idea that they were closer to us than the score would indicate when we played, but they were still the worst team in opinion by a good margin. I think if that game was replayed a large number of times in alternate universes we still almost always get the win by at least 10+ points.
Kevin Sumlin is available for $2mil/yr and can deliver the same results, with one 10-11 win season every 4-5 years.Right now, you'd have to say Jimbo. Getting paid trucks of money to generally have an 8-4 ceiling. I don't like Kelly, but gotta give them some credit for regrouping after the beat down by the Vols.
This is a choice job of explaining away losing at home by 4 TDs. Dude sounds like he’s about to have a stroke as he starts his comments.
