Brian Kelly says LSU is not as bad we made them look

How do you know? I think they are the same and we were just that much better than the opponents they beat the last two weeks.
They blew the FSU game, barely beat a terrible Auburn team and were losing to Miss St 16-10 entering the 4th. Then they had mistakes against Tenn and didn't look so hot.
The next 2 weeks they whipped up on Florida and smoked Ole Miss.
Idk bro just a hunch.

Offensively we did the same thing to Alabama with the OL playing great in pass protection. That’s why they could not stop us today if we played them again.

Ok, and?
They're a better team than 3 weeks ago. Doesn't mean I think Tenn loses or even comes close to losing but I think the game is closer. Not sure why that's so controversial.

This is a choice job of explaining away losing at home by 4 TDs. Dude sounds like he’s about to have a stroke as he starts his comments.

I honestly think he is legit correct. His coaching decisions cost them. He admitted that and I respect him for it. Now who is to say if he had punted, we wouldn't have scored on a couple 30 yard plays. Regardless, you can't give a high octane offense a short field. I also think the team that just pummeled Ole Miss is playing better than they were when we played them. It's good to see him not he a completer arrogant jerk for once.

I agree with you I think. They have gotten better since they played us. We have gotten better too. Even if we had stayed the same I think maybe it’s a 10 point win, but still a win. Do we beat them with the same margin today? I dunno but we definitely beat them by 10 easy and probably usually 14 or more.

It’s all moot though because these are hypotheticals not really important unless they somehow win the west, which while possible is very long shot imho.

I’m not buying that they are any different than they were 14 days ago when we annihilated them. Ole Miss just proved to likely be a product of a soft schedule.

Just disagree with. I don’t think they are a better team. Were the opponents they beat worse than when they played LSU. We can go back and forth on this all day.

It always amazes me when people want to waste time re-evaluating games that already happened. “LSU is a better team now.” Pitt is not a good team because they are playing badly now.” Who the F cares. Pretty amusing really and a huge waste of time. When we played them, we put a W in the board and that’s all that counts. Only one word to remember here people- SCOREBOARD. Again, they don’t take pictures. They just ask if you got it done. Nothing else matters and I ain’t wasting time worrying about teams we already whipped. Only time I would think about them again is we somehow win out and play Bama or LSU in the title game.

What’s worse? The explanation or still trying to explain it 2 weeks later?

Every decent coach is embarrassed by a loss. But, this offense we have is on fire, and truly an embarrassment for these coaches. Because they are clueless as to how to stop it. And it really shows.

Napier was going for 4th downs on his own side of the field in the 1st Q! He knew from the git go that he had no answer.

Saban appeared to hold to his "balance" game plan until UT smacked him into a 28-10 reality early in only the 2Q!!! Nick, the legendary defense guru tapped out very early knowing he had no idea how to stop it.

Kelly did the same as CBN, but his O sucks like a Hoover. He just got downright embarrassed by a 5th year HC. So he's revisiting this 2 weeks later to try and recover some credibility w fans and admins.

The emergence of our spectacular OL has made this group lethal!

Kelly will say anything to protect his job. The idiots who hired him will agree to make themselves look less idiotic. And the fans who were shamed out of their own stadium by the University of Tennessee Volunteers will agree to save their self-esteem.

But, guess what losers? You lost, badly, at HOME and you have to live with that until you get another shot. So suck it until we meet again.

him saying that just makes us look better

oh you're better... great... and we spanked you,.... hard. now go to your room

So the team that barely beat auburn is the same team that hammered Florida and Ole Miss?
Would you suggest that the Tenn team that smoked LSU and beat Bama is the same team that barely beat Pitt?

I strongly believe if we played them again at night in death valley we could beat them by as much as our head coach wanted to. I'm not sure why people lack faith in our football team
Some of us don't "lack faith" in Tenn it's that we have new found faith in LSU to not embarrass themselves again.
