Brown or Mompremiere

Mompremier seems to fit better for us if Russell can return healthy she seems more of a four type player. Having her and Russell inside would be an awesome duo. Brown is more like Russell so we would have two center type players. Graves has another year so it wouldn't matter that much. I would love to get them both really makes us JMO the most talented team in WCBB next season. We desperately need to get one hopefully we will hear something soon.

Mompremier said she wanted to go and see everything so not real concerned that she took the Baylor trip. I think it is still a three way battle between Tennessee, SC, and Ohio State.

Both would be good pickups. UConn will be very vulnerable next year with the loss of KML and Stokes. They will have no inside size besides Stewart. If Tennessee has a healthy post game next year, I like them a lot in this matchup...Stewart be damned!

Diamond becoming eligible would be huge. You mentioned Holly wanting to play 4 outside, 1 inside...IMO, Diamond is the perfect player to make that strategy work. She's physical enough to guard most high post players, and is a triple threat out to the three point line. She's going to make Tennessee a completely different team.

I think it's between OSU and Tennessee at this point. USC has too many people in the paint currently.

Uconn added a 6'5 transfer post from Georgetown. Who will be eligible next year.

Well, it was nice to think that they were going to be more beatable while it lasted...

From looking at Natalie Butler's stats, she's a gamer and appears to be better than Dolson was entering her sophomore year.

Damn...

Butler is very similar to Dolson will do about the same job for them. He knows what he needs from any particular player and he gets them to that level.

On that note, I try not to talk about Breanna Stewart anymore. I spent so much of her freshman year mocking husky fans for proclaiming her greatness so early on as she struggled to adjust to the college game...then the NCAA tournament happened.

I have to say...I'm really jealous. She is a special player, and Geno did a great job getting her to assert herself. I wonder if Tennessee was ever in the running for her?

Probably Tennessee and Ohio State. I can tell they made a huge impression on her from her interviews. I am hoping we made even more of an impression.

If it is between OSU and TENN ... IMO she probably likes OSU more, but because of distance (OSU plays in the north, TENN plays in the south, family can probably see her play more with TENN, less than OSU) that is why she is torn. This is my thinking, I'm no psychic. lol

Other factors? Playing time? Connection with coaching staff? Exposure?

It's always fun to sit back and see what happens :)

My guess is she is more torn because she doesn't know Brown's decision yet.

Neither did I volfanIND. I have a feeling she's going to Baylor but you never know what these recruits are thinking.

Ohio state had been recruiting her way longer than us but i think their main advantage over us is probably playing time and the opportunity to start immediately. she'll get more exposure at Tennessee and i don't know much about OSU's coaching staff. i don't think distance plays a huge factor her final three schools are all far away from home, the farthest is Ohio, followed by Tennessee and then South Carolina.

Seems to me after that article Baylor will be her choice

I'm not so sure after reading that. While it seems she has closer ties to Baylor, she seemed to like the fact that Warlick was less extreme than either Mulkey (over-hyper) and Blair (laid-back), so maybe she will go with the middle ground. She characterized Holly as vibrant, understanding and involved with her players and maybe that will sway her decision.

I too, don't thinks its a done deal for Baylor. I don't know how many times a recruit was pegged to one school and ended up at another. I love what she says about learning and not really caring about coming off the bench.

Looks like Mompremier might have eliminated Osu and added Baylor instead. so if it's now down to Tennessee and Baylor for her and Brown then there is a possibility that they both end up going to the same school after all.

Not sure where this idea has come from. But, if it is from the Baylor board, I would take it with a grain of salt. Anyone who can interpret a tweet that says "I'm stuck in between schools" as an indication that a recruit is down to two particular schools (even when the tweet comes shortly after a visit to one school) is engaging in wishful thinking, in my opinion.

I'm not saying I have any inside information. I think we will all just have to wait until the end of the week to find out where these two young ladies will commit. Hopefully they both decide on Tennessee!
