Bru McCoy: Back in 2025?

I'm not going to be surprised. I know exactly what he's doing. He walked during SR day after this article came out in June because he isn't coming back to college football.Kitzleman didn't walk and is coming back. Bru is preparing for the SR bowl and the draft, not for a return to UT. The more you know.😉
You’ve never seen a SR walk through to only return? Happens often..including Bru the previous year. Kitzleman isn’t in the same conversation on being drafted.

A Sr? Sure it has happened. This SR,Bru,it's not happening.
This article came out before the season. If anyone would know they had the opportunity to come back it would be Bru. BrU could have chosen not to walk and came back for a season if it were a possibility. HE knows it's not a possibility, therefore,he walked.
This article has already been shot down numerous times by Austin price and Brent hubbs
Kitzelman will be in the exact same conversation that Bru is. They both will be undrafted free agents

At this point, MK would likely be undrafted. But if he can have a big year in 2025, perhaps he can work his way into the draft. I kinda doubt it, but he has a chance.

You stated Bru is out of eligibility, he is not that’s the stance. So you were wrong, no matter how much effort you put into it. We can keep going around about it, he has the option to move forward or come play again. I’ll allow you the final word to say the same thing again, after your own question was backed down.

Bru is out of eligibility. That has been reported by multiple sources.

Besides Price and Hubbs reporting it, LWS has stated it in his roster thread pinned on this page: “Bru McCoy has no path whatsoever to return. He has no eligibility. Any reports that indicate he does are wrong.”

OMG this my be the dumbest thread I've ever been sucked into.
Does a out of eligibility SR have to declare for the draft? What else would he do?
Pearce just declared because he COULD come back-same with DSamp.
Lol ask the guy who just finished his 9th season at Miami!

And Pavia for winning a court case that declared his juco yr not against his NIL eligibility! WTH does that mean? Basically saying he didn’t play a yr of CFB!

You're right. He's coming back. I look forward to seeing him on the field in 2025.
Wonder why he hasn't announced he's coming back?
Is this why some of our insiders leave and stop posting and providing us information NightHawkVol?

Then how do you explain why he has not declared for the NFL draft?
I don’t think with all the $h!t going on in college you can say he won’t play another year. Miami guy got 9 seasons!
He hasn’t declared because he’s out of eligibility. Declaring is for underclassmen with remaining eligibility…they’re declaring that they are forgoing that remaining eligibility. It’s been that way for decades.

If you think you know more about this situation than @LWSVOL or Brent Hubbs or Austin Price, argue with them. I’m just telling you what has been reported. If you don’t like that report, I can’t help you.

I don't like that information. I'm going to take the guy with the screenshot on his phone over Price and Hubbs

I believe that he is exploring his legal options for another season. He has 2 seasons that would be eligible for legal action. Freshman season transfer back and forth with Texas and USC and 2021 season when legal issue kept him out at USC.

The 2019 season he had a medical issue and never played in 2019. His first game was fall of 2020. He didn’t play in 2021 due to legal issues. He played 2022 injured 2023 and full season 2024. So basically he’s played 3.5 seasons. He definitely has legal avenues if he chooses with todays CFB BS!

I kind of hope not. I love him, but he's kind of slow and doesn't get separation on routes. He'd be a good grad assistant
He's a big guy that has pushed through a lot of injuries. You are right though, he isn't a down the field speedy threat and there were continuous failed down the field attempts to him, that he failed to get there fast enough. He wasn't over thrown, is was slow to get there. This isn't a knock on him, it's a knock of the staff for putting him in a bad position.

There were 2 or 3 other WR that should have been the ones running the go routes, not him. He is a tough dude that gets tough yards and should have been utilized in the slot. There's a misconception that the slot guy has to be smaller and faster. Screw that, put a hoss in there like Bru and dare a defender to defend him in the flat or over the shallow middle. He should have been the go to routinely for short yardage plays and 3rd downs when the Vols needed to move the chains. Imagine going two TE and having Bru in the slot. Basically unstoppable. They just weren't creative enough at putting the best talent in the best positions to win one on ones, or exploit zone defenses.
