Bru McCoy: Back in 2025?

I believe that he is exploring his legal options for another season. He has 2 seasons that would be eligible for legal action. Freshman season transfer back and forth with Texas and USC and 2021 season when legal issue kept him out at USC.

the only option he is exploring is the NFL. He is playing in the "Senior Bowl" with lots of pros there watching him.

The fact this thread went 3 pages with commenters debating a known fact is crazy. This has been put out about Bru for a while now.
Again,is this the reason many of the other insiders chose to stop engaging as much? When you present facts to posters, they want to constantly argue alternate facts. It's exhausting

Understand I’m not arguing for another year as I’m old School with 5 to play 4 but with todays BS CFB who knows until they are actually gone!
The way college is going I won't be surprised if players go to the NFL early....Wash out and go back to college if they have eligibility left....Don't laugh!!

Those YouTubers like boogie Bentley and sports talk J do videos like that just to get clicks. Don't pay them any mind and do not watch, that's what they want
I have never seen a fan base that attacks their own people more than ours. You guys need to lay off these guys. They are very good at what they do and Boogie Bentley always tells everyone that he’s a fan not an insider are you just mad that you didn’t come up with the idea first?

He's a big guy that has pushed through a lot of injuries. You are right though, he isn't a down the field speedy threat and there were continuous failed down the field attempts to him, that he failed to get there fast enough. He wasn't over thrown, is was slow to get there. This isn't a knock on him, it's a knock of the staff for putting him in a bad position.

There were 2 or 3 other WR that should have been the ones running the go routes, not him. He is a tough dude that gets tough yards and should have been utilized in the slot. There's a misconception that the slot guy has to be smaller and faster. Screw that, put a hoss in there like Bru and dare a defender to defend him in the flat or over the shallow middle. He should have been the go to routinely for short yardage plays and 3rd downs when the Vols needed to move the chains. Imagine going two TE and having Bru in the slot. Basically unstoppable. They just weren't creative enough at putting the best talent in the best positions to win one on ones, or exploit zone defenses.
Kinda like Juan Jennings. He fights for the ball like Bru. As I said. He was done a disservice and not targeted a lot this season. One of the guys that had sure hands

Not mad at all. He makes up stuff just for clicks. Coach J is ok but n the podcast, Boogie Bentley is a jerk and doesn't know football

Kind of surprised at the anti-Bru comments.

Dude was coming off a major injury this last season and it no doubt hampered him.

With that being said, I still trusted him more than other receivers this past year.

I would have no issues with having him back.

They’re idiots that only look at stats. While he isn’t coming back, it’d be incredible if he did. He’s our best overall WR, don’t give a **** what the stats say. He does things the common fan doesn’t see at a high level, and has a certain attitude you can’t teach when he plays.

This is hilarious, but once a player declared for the draft a/o plays professionally, they forfeit any remaining athletic eligibility. They could return to the school to attend classes and pursue degrees. But, competing is over with and done, with the exception of changing sports, I believe

What has he made up? Everything he post is news, rumors, or things being tossed around in the message boards. No different than what we do here. he pretty much debunks any BS rumors also. I appreciate what he does and I’m sure there are a lot that does so I don’t understand going around telling everybody not to listen to him. Who would you suggest?

Of course...in the past. But currently they are changing the rules on the fly, so you never know what's next.

Oh, I agree fully.

Bru has some of that Jennings kind of toughness/dog in him. Maybe not the most talented guy in the world but nobody is gonna outwork them.

Quite frankly, I'll take all the guys like that we can find. They are a pain in the butt for opposing teams to deal with.

No one had these complaints about him when he had a good quarterback throwing to him. Bad QB play for two years running has convinced many Bru sucks though.
Wrong. The injury is what’s five it. Anyone with eyes can see he is much slower than president injury. He just isn’t the same guy. But continue with your QB driven narrative.
