Bruce Pearl costed us this game

Serioulsy guys, it's no coincedence that we have allowed teams to shoot well against us. Kentucky had WAY to many easy buckets tonight (and even missed some wide open looks).

I think teams have figured out that our press is vulnerable to throwing over the top.

Are you guys going to fire Odom and let him move on to the Southern Conference, the level he should be on?

Shoot, WE are ready to move to the Southern Conference as a TEAM in basketball! He said at the beginning of the season, "I have a good feeling about this team." When I heard that, it translated to NIT return trip. We may not even make that, which would be good. I'm ready for this season to be OVER!

That doesn't mean that he wasn't stuck to Lofton like glue that night. I saw Chris make a shot with Hump literally humping him.
Just saying, I don't think anyone is going to confuse Lee Humphrey with Rajon Rondo, Eric Ferguson, or Tasmin Mitchell as a defender.

I thought they were going to pull it out against LSU last night. I like that weave they run at the top of the arc when they're looking for a 3. I think that might work with us trying to get Lofton open.

we were out played 100x more than we were outcoached to say we lost cause of Pearl is stupid, our players fell apart simple as that. But he was out coached but not enough to blow the game like our players did

We went on that three game winning streak when we were hitting 3's. Now that we can't hit the long range shots, we're on a 4 game skid. Like Jerry Clower said, "HAW! Shoot this thing!!!!"

I'm ready for the PING! of Spring! Clemson comes to town this weekend.

Well, I'm not going to expect our players to hang their heads over a two point loss to a veteran coach after the way they have made this season so magical.

I'm not going to let it ruin my thoughts on this team either. Most exciting Vols team I've seen since I've been here, that includes all sports.

Thank you for saving me the time of posting this same statement.
Cost is the more widely accepted past participle of cost, although costed is acceptable, it has a strange ring to it.

Can we all agree on this, without Bruce Pearl, there's no post season, and probably were looking at finishing last or next to last in the SEC.

The season starts over in 2 weeks. It hurts UT's seeding in the NCAA tournament, but UT is still a lock.

I think these tight games and losses are making UT a better team overall. If anything Major is starting to play better and hopefully the sting of losing will push the rest of the team to raise their level of play before the NCAA tournament starts.

The other factor here is, all these teams are playing just to get into the NCAA tournament and off the bubble. In a couple of weeks UT will be playing with the same abandonment, knowing everything is on the line.

I hope you are right... It does seem that they only played like they REALLY WANTED one of these last 4... the UF game. Then again, UF is losing more than we are here at the end!

I don't have a good feeling about the game Saturday against Vandy. We picked the wrong time to start losing games for whatever reasons. I felt bad for Coach Mears especially. One last thing, that one ref seem to give Kentucky all the out of bounds calls tonight.

He sent just one of many our way... and I thought that ONE should have been to UK! It seemed those guys were playing opposite day on us tonight...
