He'll be the Five Good Minutes guest on Wednesday's show.

(Didn't see this posted elsewhere, merge if necessary, etc.)

No, no...it makes sense. Run off the guy that made you feel like the team should win every game. The guy that made the team relevant again.

I could think of a lot of things he could do with five good minutes. None of them involve pandering to the media.

You are right, getting free postive publicity for our program is horrible. I can't see it helping recruiting at all. You are an idiot.

Because the NCAA tournament game Tennessee is playing on Friday is terrible expensive negative publicity. I get it.

You might want to get off the computer, the buses probably left an hour ago and mommy will be pissed when you're late for supper.

you mean a team that pays a pretty good figure to a coach who produces results? I'm guessing there are a few out there

Oh I forgot about all the great coaches that have been here before and the ones just chomping at the bit to come to a school with such a great recruiting history!!!

Just out of curiosity, what did you see out of Tennessee on Sunday that makes you think the head coach should be doing anything besides coaching two days before Tennessee plays their opening round game? Perhaps you can redeem yourself and make me rethink my stance that people who lack the ability to think critically should all be sterilized.

For as much money as we're paying Pearl, we could get a much better coach in terms of Xs and Os.

Pearl is a good salesman and recruiter. He's a mediocre coach, at best. He won't take us to any championships, but he's a good guy to jump start a program.

But he's so good at getting us free positive publicity and as soon as he is out of town Buzz Peterson will immediately reclaim the head coaching position. Don't you know anything, moron?

Pearl understands the big picture. Get exposure, promote the program, get the team on T.V. every possible chance, play anybody anywhere which all leads to getting better recruits. The AD sure understands it, why don't you!!

Nowhere in there did you say a word about actual coaching.
