Bryce Brown Announcement

Just got done watching some vids on youtube of bryce brown and he is going to be a beast for the hill. He is one helluva player. He can break tackles like none other.

I'm impressed wiht our new recruiting ranking.
Scout @ 8th
Rivals @ 10th

I know it doesn't mean a whole lot, but still I like what Kiffin and Co can do in such a short amount of time.

Great to get such an outstanding future player at UT. It's also great press for UT, you can bet other top recruits were aware of his decision.

On sports center today after he announced he was coming to UT they only announced it once. You know if it would have gone anywhere else they would have kept anouncing it every 5 mins. But any pub is good pub i guess.

I'm curious...has anyone seen anything on how BB stacks up to other running backs of the last 4 or 5 classes? Obviously, Richardson is right on his heels as far as this class goes and both of them are far better than any 2008 back. 2007 has McKnight and Noel Devine. 2006 has Beanie, Spiller, Knowshon, Stafon Johnson, and Murray from OK. 2005 has a trio of NFLers in Stewart, Mendenhall, and Charles; as well as James Davis and Javon Ringer. Finally, the 2004 class has AP (I'm thinking BB is the most talented RB recruit since), Marshawn Lynch and Thomas Brown of UGA. If you wanted to extend it back to 2003, then you'd have the SC tandem of Bush and White.

Pretty interesting. This class of RB's seems to be, by in large, deeper than most in the past several years. IMO, BB is the most heralded and most talented since AP. We'll just have to wait and see how is accomplishments stack up after 2 or 3 years. Bryce probably isn't going to get the same oppurtunity that AP got as a true fresh.

***edit: McFadden was an ATH coming out of high school in 2005, but for argument's sake, let's include him. DMC seems like the most likely clone to me.

I believe Rivals had him as the #1 RB prospect in the last 5 years in a thing they did earlier this year.

Possibly the best college player ever staying another year is a lot more important than a recruit signing.

Thanks man...I had some buddies talking about this not too long ago...Don't know how I missed it.

I was just looking back at photos of how much DMC's body changed over his 3 years at Arky....just imagine what Bryce could turn into!

Is there an easy way to learn how to make avatars? I'm wantin a Vader one and I'm gonna try to make it...
There is no easy way to learn. It takes many months of practice to get where I'm at. Just to be honest. Here's one I made that you could use though.

They still dont believe that BB could turn down a program like Oregons. They are all a bunch of idiots and are alreasy talkin smack about the 2010 showdown.

People in the northwest US don't understand the South and our traditions. With that being said, they will NEVER understand our football down here and why they can't get the top prospects. They just won't. Football up there is just a fun thing to do on a Saturday. Football down here is like a religion; it brings families together, it settles longtime disputes (if only for a day), it resonates throughout this entire region. I'm telling you right now they just don't understand, and no matter what you say on there will change that fact. It's just a completely different culture.
