What is your poInt?

His point is that he's cushioned the blow of losing Bryce Brown by acting like he was bad. Now when other people talk about him, this guy thinks there's no point in talking about him because he was supposedly useless when he was wearing orange.

When Bryce is in the NFL, it'll be funny to see if anyone admits they were dumb enough to think he sucked

i fail to see how him being a future trainer or ball sack washer for a nfl team relates in any way to him not being a good football player, but okay.

yes, tennessee fans hate eric berry.

face it, he was the o.j. owen award winner for most overrated player of the decade.

I think to go from UT where he was going to inherit the starting RB position to being 2nd team at RB at Kansas State would be a major disappointment for him, being the #1 player coming out of high school. I don't think that will happen. It's just coach speak. They always talk about every position being open for competition in the fall to get the players to continue to work hard in the offseason. I would almost guarantee he will be the starter there in the fall.

If he didn't have so much baggage he could run faster.

I hope for his sake that he has shed all of that and is getting himself together.

Not wanting to play for a WAC loser is "baggage?"

Brown had no competition for the job at UT. He just didn't want to play for Dooley. Period.

I don't think he ever recovered from that hip stinger.

correct, there was no competition, he was handed the backup spot.

maybe he'll break his first collegiate tackle next year. the big xii isn't known for it's defenses so the outlook is at least postitive in that regard.

Bullshiz coachspeak is absolutely meaningless. Trying to use it for a point is just silly.

Misleading title is misleading.

Crazy talk. Obviously Snyder should be saying right now that Brown is the starter. Who cares if that makes the other guy decide to transfer, leaving them with no one worth jack if Brown gets injured?

I haven't heard Dooley say that Poole has locked up the starting job. Guess that means he sucks too.

Actually he was praised by many close to the program for his work ethic.

weird that that staff would promote the guy they handed the position to.

Wasn't talking about just the staff. If they wanted to hand him anything, why not just give him the starting job? *****ing over a backup position is pointless.
