Running up and down the field. Has about 60 yards in the first quarter. Sure it's the Saints, but he is running fast and hard. What a waste. Typical luck for the Vols. The top two backs that year were Trent Richardson and BB. We end up with the bust of course.

I'd hate to be a bust that makes it to and plays in the NFL

Most VN posters wanted to get rid of him since he didn't set records his first game.

He always had talent. The idiots who said otherwise were expecting Barry Sanders or something.

Proud for Bryce. My beef was with his idiot father. Just proves the talent was there when Kiffin brought him in.

Yeah because that's what I meant by bust. He was the number 1 recruit in the nation and was at Tennessee for one season. What did he have, 200 yards in his career? He was a bust at Tennessee which is clearly what I meant.

A lot of that was on his dad and coaching change. Attrition happens, it just sucked for us because he was so talented

For the record, Bryce was an immature knucklehead that couldn't decide if he wanted to be a Vol or not for about 6 months and kept his teammates in limbo wondering whether or not they could count on him. His dad didn't help matters either.

He was hurt for most of the year and had an awful QB lining up in front of him ....and then the coach left. Things weren't exactly easy for him.

Exactly. Glad it's working out for the kid, but lets not rewrite history.

Wasn't that when Dooley came in? If so, he was smart to not want to play for Dooley, can't say I blame him

He just wanted to play ball, didn't care about school, any school. It looks like it's working out for him so far. Lucky guy with talent.

I still remember the day he committed to us. That was the last time I really believed that we were going to be competing for championships again.

It's too bad it didn't work out. I'll always wonder if we had hired a more skilled coach or a smoother salesman-recruiter-type, if we could have held onto him.
