seems like stuff like this just has to run it's course. pitcher runs his mouth, batter shows him up, pitcher beans him, teams brawl, etc. etc. and eventually they get it out of their systems or they don't get to play. it's dumb that it comes to that, but any time you mix competition and testosterone egos get the best of people.

as for the whole celebration talk, come on, it's a game. they aren't allowed to have fun and celebrate after a big play? that's just silly. it's one thing to taunt someone, but what Pujols did was well within the realm of professionalism.

Um, the kid was suppose to graduate high school in the last month. Should he have done it? Of course not. Is it so offensive it should be a leading story on ATH and PTI? No. He's 18, the next Ken Griffey Jr., and making more money than all of us probably combined. I would be pretty damn cocky too.
