Bryce Harper acting this way is the equivalent to John Beck celebrating a TD pass.

When Albert does it it is the same as Peyton acting a fool.

Albert is one of the few faces of the leagus and is a stand-up guy, a great man for that matter from what I have read about him.

Not saying that he can't be excited to do what he had just done, but he is too classy a guy to do it on the field.

That's just me.

Getting dunked on is not even close to the same as getting shown up after someone hits a home run after you. Not even close.

My favorite Bob Gibson story was a guy (forgot who) hitting a home run off of him his final game.

Years later they are playing in a charity game and the guy comes up to bat against Gibson. Gibson drills him with the first pitch.

Sure it is, actually it is more demoralizing since his nuts are in your face and then he lets out a primal scream in your ear just to make sure you know what just happened.

That doesn't necessarily happen if you get dunked on. Sometimes people show out afterwards. Other times, they don't.

As a Cardinals fan, I was glad to see him having fun and celebrating. It's been a miserable two months for him and he's coming out of it. However, I could see an opposing team being pissed by it.

That said, I don't know how the Cubs could be too mad considering they were stupid enough to pitch to him after he'd hit 3 homers in the previous 2 days against them.

Agree 100%.

Griffey is my all-time favorite player, he starred at them with the best of them.

Are we seeing a trend?

Guys who do it on a regular, tend to do the stare.

I didn't think what Bryce did was outta line, guy stalked him around the basepaths, he could have easily laughed it off, like NYYVol said, this guy is a future insurance salesman but he didn't.

When it is a true poster moment, the dunker lets it all hang out...it is more personal to me then a guy starring at a ball he just put into orbit for a few steps.

Just showing how dumb arguing over a guy blowing a kiss is. Overreacting much?

Same people complaining over it are the same ones on here loving Tyler Bray doing the throat slash. Only difference is it ain't their team.

Kid is damn good. Hopefully he doesn't have injuries that derail his career. He will be fun to watch. If the Nats keep him and the pitcher.....forgetting the name.....they will have two big pieces to compete. Seeing where they were the last few years as the Expos, that is good to see.

I strongly urge you to find where I posted how classless and Bush League Bray's throat slash was. In fact, if I'm am opposing defender, I'm planting his skinny rear end a foot deep.

You also must have overlooked my post saying to keep it below the shoulders. I would not throw at his nugget, but I'd guarantee he'd never blow another kiss after hitting a bomb.

He'll be getting drilled again next game, even if it isn't until awhile from now.

Got caught up in the moment, made an idiot of himself... raking the ball and trotting is pimpin it enough.

Major Leaguers cadillac home runs all the time... He just got caught up in interaction with the pitcher. Flippin dumb. He'll learn.
