BTO’s Miami Postgame Report

Okpara is a major question mark. He just turns into a non factor at times. The center position could be our undoing again. The lack of just one good physical big cost us a Final Four last year.

while technically true, I think there is a lot of context required for the bolded.

I think we had good bigs last year. I think that’s reflected in their stats. In our record and accomplishments. My eyeballs. And the fact Aidoo was all-sec

Going into the E8 we had just beat one of the best big men in the country.

But Edey was a bad matchup not just for us, but everyone not named Donovan Clingan.

Thankfully I don’t see an Edey in college basketball this year, but agreed with your premise, tomorrow should be a solid barometer on that

We were not gonna stop Edey and he would have been the best post on the floor no matter who we had but we needed a strong post to contain him a little. Aidoo is not a physical big. Good against certain types but definately not very physical. It's been mentioned that having Plavic for that game could have made a huge difference. Decent at best but he didn't care to mix it up a little. If nothing else it would have been five more fouls to give.

Read the first paragraph of BTOs report. 1. "Another wire to wire win over a P4 team", "Tennessee’s defense ratcheted up and they also cooled and Tennessee yet again had a workmanlike performance as they methodically just pulled away from the Canes, never really allowing the outcome to ever be a question."

A Power 4 team that required a workmanlike performance to methodically pull away. Funny way to describe a sub-500, Q3 weak team that we didn't cover the spread and led by single digits late in the game
Stop betting. It'll serve you really well in the long run.

None of the 3 you quoted said anything in the ball park of Plavic being a factor in UT winning. Your stuck on a narrative that didn’t apply to not just UTs roster, but 99%. What are we missing in your argument that FeOk’s last game or 2 could be related to not being able to tame the acre boilermaker?

5 more fouls could have also equaled a 10 pt bigger deficit

With Plavic I was referring to things said here right after the game was played. My point is that we didn't have anybody that could handle him physically.

oh ok. so you think if you're justified in the insult, it's perfectly fine to question someone's intellect.
great moral compass you got there.

and yeah, you absolutely played up our level of play (we looked so good).
Here's ChatGPTs objective thoughts on your report about how you described Tennessee's play. pretty sure my comprehension is just fine. even if it's not, be kind
