Bubble Watch Games

IF (and I'm not giving yup yet) but if we are out, then we should start a thread and root against every ****ing SEC team in the tournament. I'm going to be bitter as hell lol

Palm has his bracket updated if you go to Missouri's spot on the bracket. He still has us in & Ky out.

Last four in: Villanova, La Salle, Massachusetts, Tennessee
First four out: Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Maryland

Maybe it's only partly updated but hover over Missouri & it says 23-10

I don't understand Mid Tenn either...RPI is so flawed...their best win is against a bubble team at home, they play in an awful conference, yet their RPI is 32.

I'm literally sick right now. Today has been one awful day...other than UK losing. And even then I couldn't totally enjoy it because it was Vandy that beat them.

Three of those teams could pick up another win tomorrow and move up. I'd say Mississippi has at least a 50/50 shot against Vandy.

God bless Jerry, but I honestly can't make a solid argument for us at this point. But I'll sure take it. If Ole Miss had lost, I'd say we should be in. I think we are screwed right now.

Someone explain to me right now, why conference tourny games mean 5x more. It's just another game. Ole Miss wins against Vandy? So what? We beat Mizzou and Vandy too. We beat Fla. We beat Wichita. Ole Miss lost to Miss St...their non-conf was a joke...whole body of work...why does the sky fall for one loss in the conference tourney?

I pretty much already do. No sense in changing now. F em all. I hope they all lose. I don't have the hate for Fla that some people do. Probably because I think Donovan is a good guy. And UT beats them enough not to hate them that bad.

Because when you have a jumbled up mess, the conference tourney is seen as a tiebreaker.

This I can support. We need a thread titled F em all.

Some of these I don't see as a jumbled mess though, so much of it should be about who you've beaten, who can you beat come tourney time? Ole Miss gets their first win against a team squarely in, TENN has at least 3, and in terms of eye test what is it 9 out of 11 wins? UVA SOS is such a joke I can't believe it, MTSU best win is against a bubble team, we've all seen how KY has played down the stretch with awful losses to boot...I just don't get why one loss and people like Lunardi drop you 6 spots, give me a break.

the committee has really been discouraged from using "the last 10 games" method though from much of what I've read, in part in the hopes of forcing teams to schedule better in November and December

You have 4 sec teams in the last 4 in and out.

That's a mess.

I can make an argument for all of them

And it doens't help that the teams you are trashing have a 3-0 record against us lol. I'm as frustrated as you are, but we had our chance and blew it. If Ole Miss had also lost, we would have still been in I think.

And then you'd have to make an argument for the rest of the teams not in the SEC. I see 3 SEC teams making it unless the committee is generous. Too many garbage programs.

1-3, we did get Bama once. But I don't think head to head should end it. You want to talk about scheduling better, of Bama/Ole Miss/UVA/MTSU...who has scheduled better than Tenn? Who has more quality wins? KY...we know they factor in injuries...so Noel should do them in...UVA I think has 7 losses past RPI Top 100...I know it seems like a jumbled mess, I just want to know the answers to the questions above.

The SEC is not very good, but the bubble is soft as hell, we have to remember that, 3 or 4 SEC shouldn't sound crazy, there aren't many options out there.

wouldn't it be 1-2 vs Bama and 0-2 vs Ole miss?

we've only played 1 team 3 times to my knowledge this season (and none 4 times)
