Buc-ee's

My life is complete! Finally went to Buc-ees in AL on I-65 not far from TN. Annual trip to the beach. An 8 hour trip so didn't stay long.

Saw one woman with a shopping cart. She looked like she was in heaven.

Men's room was sparkling clean. Something that has never been.

Dude, we have to quit stepping on each other. I was in there about 3 weeks ago.

We went in January, N. AL on I-65. Appreciated the clean restrooms, but with a 8 hour drive I didn't feel like shopping for stuff.
That's where I'm at. If you stop at a Buc-ee's, and it's along your route, you walk in and go "Wow, this is a really nice truck stop, glad we stopped at this place to get gas."

The whole driving out of the way to get to it, prolonging the trip, hanging out in the parking lot eating their food thing that people do...I just don't get that. It's a truck stop. A really nice one, but it's a truck stop.

When did they start letting trucks in?

Convenience store. You're right, I guess it isn't really a truck stop.

We go to the beach a lot and have made some half hearted attempts to get into the one in Florence but still haven’t did it. We kinda got into a routine to stop at the pilot across the interstate just to see what the Wendy’s is out of. Last week we stopped and they were out of large buns, cheese, bbq sauce, fries, and cups. We got a jr burger and they put some nasty Asiago cheese on them. 🤮

Not really considering they don't actually allow Trucks!

There’s a buc-ees right off I-75 in Richmond, KY which is about 30 minutes from my house. Pretty convenient and I must say I was impressed the first time that I went.
