Burrell assault during the punt ...

Austin Peay played so dirty. I don’t think I’ve disliked a smaller program as much as them in my lifetime. Their coach should be embarrassed he employed those methods.
Something tells me their coach is as pleased as a pig in you know what with the way they played and their tactics.

The program takes the lead from their coaches and are usually a direct reflection. If they play like a bunch of low class yokels, then you can be assured their coaches are the same.

Anyone have a video of this? The stadium was ready to burn the place down, but I don't think anyone watching at home got to see what had us so angry.
Tussles happen. AP guy tackled him. Then another guy came up and they basically stood over him not letting him get up jawing at him. Absolutely should have been unsportsmanlike conduct by the second guy.

He’s a straight up clown like a PJ Fleck or a more energetic Butch. His game plan was straight out of Lane Kiffin’s 2009 Florida game plan. Had no intent to win the game, just bled clock to make it look close.

AP won’t be getting an invite back any time soon. Say goodbye to those fat paychecks. 2 chop blocks “called” and with those refs, that means there were at least 5-7. They were chippy and dirty alll night and their coach gave off that vibe as well.
Invite maybe MTSU or Memphis if we’re want to give money to in state schools. Maybe even do a 2 home games for 1 road game or play them at the Titans stadium. I know people have PTSD of the 96 Memphis game but that was a fluke.

It has been a long time since I've seen the stadium as angry as that, including Ole Miss. I expected some bottles thrown on the field and there might have been one or two.
They stopped showing replays in the stadium of anything close to controversial.
The “refs you suck” chants were impressive in how long they lasted

AKRON too. Just hold the check back (until the last minute) on these small schools out to make a name for themselves at any cost ; and tell them never again.

There was a lot of dirty play going on. The offensive linemen (AP) would be in a pile and instead of using their arms to push up with to get up, they would do a slow roll onto their backs and start pushing themselves across the pile. Imagine a large inflatable ball and you lie on your back across the ball and use your legs to roll around. This also slows the offense getting ready for the next play.

Of course there was the fumble caused by Beasley was overturned. Talk about obvious. They even reviewed it to make sure they got it wrong.

My seats are in section B. The probable BLIND & HIGHLY INTOXICATED ref was on my side of field and I could make more correct calls 50 rows up then he made.

Crazy,
That side judge that was on the east sideline is a joke. 🫏 🎩
