They benefit from playing us WAYYYYYY more than we do from playing them. We should never schedule them again.I was sitting on that side of the field, close to the APSU bench. The worst part about their dirty play wasn't the players, it was the coaches. Every time they made a dirty play, the coaches were getting so hyped up, loving every minute of it. I don't think I've ever seen that at any game in my life. I had a soft spot in my heart for their team due to being a small in-state school. I always like to see them score a little to keep it from being embarrassing. APSU definitely will not occupy that spot again. That was the dirtiest team I've ever seen.
I didn’t get to see that play. In Freaks video. Anyone know around what time frame it is?I think the Austin Pee coach took a few too many Ritalin before the game. Or a case of Red Bull. But the worst call IMHO was the one where AP receiver caught a ball and took at least 3 steps with full possession, fumbled and we recovered, Ref's called it an incomplete pass. Replay clearly showed it was a bad call.
So would most people. College officials apparently get to keep getting paid and make their Vegas money on the side.Watching the replay on that fumble and the holding + tackle on Bru....wow man that gets my blood boiling all over again. How can refs let things that egregious go and not be punished for it? Unbelievable. If I did my job even half as bad as those refs did I'd be terminated instantly.
Burrell got into it with an AP player and the player got Burrell on the ground. Two other AP players surrounded Burrell and dragged him across the ground about three yards, the benches started ti empty. It was beyond insane that a flag was not thrown.
Then there was the screen APSU threw later in the game that the receiver dropped the low throw, rolled the ball on the ground a couple feet, picked it back up and ran with it. Only the linesman on the far side of the field called it incomplete, every one else including the linesman 3 yards away saw a catch.I'm mad all over again.
