I thought about that before I posted. In fact, I see people treat children harmfully in public every day. They may not be slapping them around, but they are yelling at them at the top of their lungs in public.

I always want to pull them aside and give them a few parenting tips, but alas, they are not my children to raise. In the end, children treated this way will be wrecks, and contribute nothing to society.

Legally a child is not a child until the law says they are. There is simply nothing I can do to change the hearts and minds of the people making these decisions.

I agree, just trying to make a point. That is the problem dems and rep for political purposes cannot agree when life starts. The most logical is determining when there is a heartbeat you have life.

No, because there is NO evidence Obama or Clinton are weak miltarily or on foreing policy. You better believe they will have the advisors to help them make the right choice. W had advice from some of the most experienced leaders both militarily and in foreign policy. He ignored EVERY one of them. His Dad, James Baker, Colin Powell..etc.

the fact that anyone could still defend him and then speculate based on nothing more than an ignorant hunch is beyond me

And answer the question....How do you know the Dems would have grown the government more than the Republicans. Because that is what you have been told to believe.

Listen to the policies they advocate - almost every policy position they advocate requires a growing role of government in daily life. Their policies cannot be enacted without growing the government.

Of course if I were enlightened I would look at something called history and see historically what the democrats are about.

In general, their philosophy falls under tax and spend and expansion of government services which would follow to the state and local level.
