Butch and Malzahn

Chizik was wasting the talent at Auburn. All Malzahn had to do was step in and actually coach.

I realize Malzahn already had talent in place but I'm not sure we will ever be able to keep up with a team like Auburn. We are lightyears behind. Frustrating.

Butt, geezzzz all the Xperts on here said Auburn and Miss were sure wins since they are having a down year.

How bout we stick with and support a Coach long enough to see what he can do, what he can recruit and what adjustments he can make to his program before we jump off the bridge!!!!

Clueless!!

Really why are we trying to base what Butch done this year on what Auburn done. They were National Champions just 3 years ago and you cannot expect a team that has been through 4 coaches in 5 years to come in under the new coach and win it all!!! Auburn has talent and a lot of it!

In 2010 Auburn had the #4 Recruiting Class in the Nation.
In 2011 Auburn had the #7 Recruiting Class in the Nation.
In 2012 Auburn had the #10 Recruiting Class in the Nation.

Regardless of going through a coaching change they stated consistent during their recruiting. The talent was already there especially the SPEED which Auburn has on the team.

Auburn has not faced the instability that Tennessee has seen over the last 5 years and nobody in their right mind would expect it to be fixed right off. Dooley getting hired & fired just set us back a little more.

Coach Jones has us going in the right direction with the #2 Recruiting Class coming in.

VN is full of people who believe in fairy tales.

He would have beaten Vaginabilt for sure!!!! :hi:

We would have beaten Vandy as well had your guy "The Pig" not pushed the defender down on Dobb's TD run. Really the ignorance and incompetence that runs rampant here is similar to that of an electorate that voted for Obama...2wice.

So, DERELICK_MY_VOLS wants Dooley back? Wow.

Absolutely....WYLO has convinced me we would be better off with anyone but Butch. He thinks he is living rent free in my mind but it is the simple fact that DERELICK loves riding the negative folks on here. Messing with the miserable is fun....no matter how ridiculous it gets

I mean every post I put on here would make you think so if you read them all.

Does the ignorance and incompetence also apply to the ignoramus who blames Pig for a loss?

whoa is me. The players that Auburn has were with Malzahn for two years at Auburn. There was no learning curve and let's face it they have had a charmed season, getting that hail mary in Ga. game, and two other last second TD;s for the win. Take nothing way from them though, getting through their last stretch took some special effort. To say TN won't be back and could never be an Auburn shows just how young you are. I was in school for 4 years with Kiner, Hacksaw, Watson and saw us lose 5 games in 4 years.

There you go,hun.
Now that we know you are not sure....We can lay down next season, and the next...etc. Let us know when your sure cause we all want to win, right....
Hope you get sure soon.

I just don't see why we can't develop an offense like Auburn's. Everybody runs our offense now, so it's easy to defend. We really need more creativity. By the time our offense gets the manpower it needs, our scheme will be outdated. I like how Auburn gets back to fundamentals--blocking and running the ball. Once they get a defense I'm not sure how anyone stops them. My point is that even with three top 10 classes I'm not sure our offensive scheme will be any more dominating than Georgia's or Missouri's.

So what do you suggest coach? I have meds for you RC Cola and a moon pie. You mean that defense that gave up 40 plus last night? Either you are 12 or your pipe is empty, nothing you said made a damn bit of sense.

Look, Auburn is very good but they had a lot of luck this year as well. It's not like they steam rolled the whole conference. They were beaten by LSU, they were a missed call on a horse collar tackle against A&M from losing, they were an incredibly lucky bounce against Georgia from losing and an improbable return from going into overtime against Alabama. They had a ton of good luck this year in getting where they are but they could just as easily been 8-4. We have ground to make up but putting Auburn on a pedestal far above everyone else is premature to say the least.
