Butch Jones blaming negativity surrounding his program on the Tennessee fanbase

I spent time in Columbus where "Woody is God" so no, I'm more of a Bobby Knight kind of disciplinarian...... choking has its place as a coaching technique.

Seriously, can't you just see General Neyland boo-hooing on the sidelines after a loss?
Darth Vader approves of choking as a means of teaching and motivation

I have to repeat my questions because you did not answer them.

Do you think Urban Meyer was a great college coach? Do you think Tebow was a great college player?

You don't have to repeat anything. I said we could agree to disagree about boo-hooing like a ten year old when you get beat at football. I'm not a fan.

Why do you think you've a right to ask?
Now you are just trying to change the subject because you really don’t want to answer my questions, and I know why. If you answer “yes” to the questions, you are conceding that crying after a loss is irrelevant to greatness. If you answer “no,” you are saying a 3-time national champion and Heisman trophy winner are a bad college coach and player, respectively.

But I will answer you, because I am not afraid of your question. I never said I have a right to ask the question, and I don’t believe I do. Using the Volnation platform is a privilege that I could lose if I break any rules. However, the question I asked is not against any rules, so I asked it without concern of being kicked off the forum.

You, however, do have the right to refuse to answer any question posed in this forum. You can continue to refuse to answer all you want if you choose, just know that I know exactly why you are refusing. You are trying to avoid the exposure of your poor logic.

Hey look, a guy just proved he won....uh... well.....uh.....nothing on the Internet.

Don't forget Butch you chose this life. Remember when you accepted the Colorado job then once found out Tennessee was an option you held off on Colorado. You could have taken a far less career path.

Stupid article.

'Why do Vols fans not like Butch Jones? Was it because he was close to something special?'

No, it was because he was a fraud, who blamed everything on everyone but himself, deliberately tried to sabotaged the program in his final season, burned every bridge in the world when he left, then went to our arch-rival as a glorified car washer, smoked "victory cigars" the 1st year Bama beat us (even though he built the team that lost and had nothing to do with the win), and spent several years deliberately not taking any real job just to collect paychecks from UT.

By some miracle, some AD was stupid enough to hire him after all that, and he's basically proving everyone that the UT fanbase was correct about him.

If anything, UT fans have more obvious reasons to hate Kiffin (bolting for USC), Dooley (the worst coach), or Pruitt (cheating). The fact that Butch is the most hated ex-coach says a lot about him. Dude is still trying to blame UT for the fact that he sucks at a completely different program 6 years later. That's his entire personality --- blame others for his failures.
Well put.

He definitely is. I'm astonished he'd try to use that in a press conference. But I can't say we aren't reveling in his failure. I know I am. Dude has it coming after the Bama cigar pics thing.
His failure is fine, couldn't happen to a nicer person.
It's too bad his players and staff have to suffer with him though.
