Bye Bye Louisville

It's not that at all...it's to counter the "victim's" family and media narratives that are almost ALWAYS straight out lies.

"My baby didndonuffin he was on his way to college and supporting his kids, and he was just walking down the street on his way to buy grandma groceries when these mean racist cops singled him out and murdered him for no reason"

versus "a felon rapist with several weapons was shot as he attempted to fight and run from police and assaulted them when they were called on him for robbing a store"
The street which you're refuting and the street which you're explaining go both ways. The families paint the most angelic picture possible to garner support. The leo supporters paint the most demonic picture possible.

In reality, their past has nothing to do with this situation that developed. I supported the man defending his dwelling when I thought this was another no knock. Facts are coming to light which contradict the police barging in. I am keeping a healthy amount of skepticism about the information provided by the 'blue line'.

That's not how this works. You're supposed to be outraged one way or the other. And if you're not outraged, you're a hypocrite.

Absolutely.
Except for this. Taylor’s past placed her in harms way.

Then you haven’t read the facts. It was a dual warrant served simultaneously. One at a different location. It is fact on the record that it was NOT a no knock. So why two? They do this when one target could call and warn the other.

A few years ago she winds up with a dead body in rental car on her name. She kept associating with this drug dealer. She handled his money. Her car was often seen at those locations. Packages were sent to her address. All facts.
So nothing that justifies kicking in a door.
Gotcha

Taylor's history is what led up to her encounter with police.

She supported and assisted a drug dealer with his activity as admitted by herself via taped conversations.
She let him use her place of residence for his address several times and still was sleeping with him and allowing him to conduct business there.
She was fired as an EMT because a dead body "appeared" in her rental car that was likely connected to said drug dealing.
Also it was not "his dwelling" it was hers

If she had not been involved in criminal activity, she likely would've never encountered police.
If her side piece had not shot police, she likely would've never been shot.

I agree with this. However, since Kentucky is a "Castle Doctrine" state, he is allowed to defend his residence if he fears for his life. Which is why they dropped the charges against him. I do wonder why he only fired one shot though if he really feared for his life. Seems like he would have emptied the magazine. Unless he knew who it was he was shooting at.

I've encountered the police many times. Traffic stops. Helping motorists. First responder at an accident. And, I've never hung around nefarious types.
Taylor is dead, imo, not because of the people she hung around. She is dead because of the methods applied by leos. In retrospect, bringing the bf or her in for questioning could've been handled much easier and better.

Part of me thinks no knocks (i know this case isn't about that anymore) is a psychological tool by leos for other criminals to never get too comfortable.

Lastly, I haven't been a fan of the no knock ever since leos killed an innocent man in Lebanon no knocking the wrong address.

You'd think LEOs would want criminals very comfortable. Let their guard down. Go about their business and lives with little suspicion. Take them down when they drop in to Pollo Hermanos for a chicken sandwich, coming out with a full belly, a large Mt Dew in one hand and car keys in the other.

Breonna didn't shoot. Next.

Got anything concrete? Trying to vilify her as a criminal that had it coming isn't getting any traction.

Is there a flow chart that you can share that shows what level of harm is warranted or acceptable for a persons past transgressions without due process?
It's the same flow chart for "Hold My Beer" some people get lucky and and nothing ever really bad happens and then sometimes your first try
