BYE WEEK = Who was Tennessee’s quarterback when you became a Tennessee fan?

Heath Shuler, but I didn’t really start paying attention closely to college football until 1997. Starting in 1997, I was watching every game that I could every Saturday.

Would have been Daryl Dickey/Tony Robinson when I first started watching UT football around 10 years old with my uncles '84-85. But I would have to say Andy Kelley is the first QB I really was aware of and I was really as UT fan wearing the colors etc in high school '89.

Dewey Warren....I remember sitting in my uncles car, listening to the game on the radio, while we were at Shoney's on Broadway eating whatever...Not a lot of games were on television then...

My first game I watched (on TV, which was a very big deal back then) was the 1980 Bama game. The VOLS looked like crap, but they were my team from then on. I was 8.

--edit-- It was the ABC Game of the Week and I remember getting tired of Keith Jackson fluffing the Tide.
I remember sitting the North End Zone & seeing a folding chair being thrown either at him or Alan Cockrell as the team left the field at halftime during a lackluster game against Wichita State in the 70's & was mad that anyone would be so crazy. A lot of passion in the Vol Nation ‼️
