Byron D'Vinner back at it again?

New handle on twitter-@devinedways2u and locked it immediately

Apparently he has powered down his facebook as well. The influx of Vol fans must have been more stress than he could bear.

Deeply saddened, no likes or responses for a Tombstone reference.

Should be automatic. Smh

This dude is blowing some of Tennessee's instate recruits twitters up. Someone needs to knock this guys block off

Jayson Swain has been putting him in his place. It's great to have a VFL like him to tell him like it is.

Its not the race card dude. There are alot of people from the M that have never gotten past the death of King. That animosity is still there and passed down. The race card is not prevalent you're generalizing.

Yea ok...that's all I'm gonna say.. I guess your not involved in Memphis Gov't..

Apparently, he made an appearance on the Main message board on Rivals today. And much like on twitter and facebook, had to bail out when it got too hot for him in the kitchen.

Got to give Madkins8 props on some serious hard hitting questions he posed to Byron:

Are you on Insulin?

How do you feel about Golden Corral?

What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book?

Do you drive a Dodge Magnum? I feel like you are the target market for a Dodge Magnum.

Here is the response from one of sponsers listed on his foundation's website.

This is what one of the sponsors Devinner claims, had to say about him.

Dear [vol fan],

We are not a sponsor for this troubled young man.
We did sell him some t-shirts a few years ago. My take on Byron is that he is trying to make a name for himself and a lot of the media jumps on his tales.
He will say anything. He is mentally deranged.

I was coaching at UAB when he came through. He never played a down.
He turned UAB in to the NCAA for some violations for helping some of the players and not helping him.
I took it that he was placing me on the line because in his mind I was helping some players with textbooks.

I hope you see that I would not sponsor this character.

A bad thing about it is that he gets to VOTE just like you and I.

Again please be assured that Snoozys does not support Byron De'Vinner in any way what so
ever.

Please contact again if we can help.

Good stuff right there.

Again...a couple phone calls, someone needs to lean on this clown.

Back in my day we called these dudes "marks"

Here's another one

From Famous Daves:
Thank you for corresponding with us regarding your concerns about Byron De'Vinner and what appears to be our sponsorship of his organization, the Devinner Foundation.

In 2007 & 2008, Mr. De'Vinner contacted our local franchise of Famous Dave's, seeking a food donation for a football camp he was operating for underprivileged athletes. We provided hamburgers and chicken fingers for the camp one day each year. Without our knowledge, apparently Mr. De'Vinner included our logo on his website listing us as a sponsor, possibly as a "thank you" for the donation. Without your notification today, we would still be unaware of its placement on his website. We have provided no further support for the organization.

We have requested Mr. De'Vinner remove our logo, and have also advised the corporate counsel for Famous Dave's of America of its existence so that we can enlist their help for getting this handled.

While we appreciate that all consumers have the opportunity to communicate with their dollars, we respectfully would ask that you reconsider your support of our restaurants.

In an attempt to be good neighbors to the communities in which we serve, we honor more than 100 requests each year from organizations that could use a little help in the way they care for others. Sometimes this is a request for free kids meal certificates, gift cards and donated food. The requests come from schools, churches, and charity organizations. While we cannot honor all, we do as much as we can. Additionally, we have pledged our support to the Make a Wish Foundation for over 11 years, raising approximately $300,000 to grant wishes for children in Middle and East Tennessee who are facing life-threatening illnesses. We are proud that we're able to help others with what we've been blessed with.

Once again, we thank you for your communication and alerting us to the unauthorized logo placement, and the support it suggests. We trust you will clear this matter up for others who are similarly surprised to find our logo on the website. And we hope we will see you in our restaurants once again.

Respectfully yours,

You know what bothers me as an AFRICAN-AMERICAN is brothas who purposely throw race into the equation because they know they can trigger emotion from their race. He pulls this every time someone criticizes him so he gathers the pro black masses. Its an old ploy and brothas are not buying into it anymore. CBJ has the top five class in the country right now recruiting black kids and he's white. They're not looking at black or white they're looking at the color orange. We are all one color in Knoxville and we could give a damn about anything else. Blacks and whites will never agree on everything in this city but if you bring up UT football we are all on the same page. **** a DeWhiner.

You're an American. The only thing African about you is your skin color. You're black, not an African American. Manute Bol and Amobi Okoye are African Americans, not a black American from Tennessee. We are all Orange in the end!

I was over on VQ and ran across a D'Vinner thread. And according to one of the posters old Byron had this to say on his facebook.

D'Vinner just posted this on Facebook:

"Dear Butch Jones Tommy Thigpen and Martinez. I don't care if you tell recruits I'm not welcomed or I've been banned from UT. Let's air the laundry out. I have been cleared by the NCAA of any wrongdoing. Let's tell theae recruits the truth you fear me. This goes back to 2011 when NO Memphis kids wanted to go to UT and it's my fault. Yes I hate UT, but wouldn't tell a kid where to or not to go. The kids can see for themselves of your track record. Martinez has been run out of Georgia Oklahoma State and Auburn now you think he can win at UT NO! You should have kept Coach Dooley at least he didn't cheat and lie to the kids. So when you want to bash someone you might want to realize I have friends around the country that listen to me and no I have norhing good to say about that place in Knoxville. Look at how many Afro American kids have signed with UT that have been dismissed. All are not bad, but the culture in Knoxville isn't good for a Afro American ? with Jayson Swain and 3 others."

Apparently, he is still sore about not being allowed on UTs campus.

Sanddune is wrecking shop on this clown.

I'd love to take credit for it, but it isn't me. I'm just copying and pasting what I'm reading from the Rivals Main Board and Volquest. Apparently he made some sort of claim that Volquest was a medium used to lure recruits to UT for money, and all hell apparently broke out after that.

I guess Byron will be more careful who he picks a fight with moving forward. This doesn't appear to end well for him.
