'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

You getting fitted for USCe gamecock spurs? I know it's been a rough decade for the vols but that's no reason to end it all and become a game cook fan.

I wouldn’t put much stock into his transfer rating, he hardly played and when he did he did quite well and that was under Clay Helton… Talent is there and being in Heupel’s offense I have a feeling he’ll live up to his 5 star ranking.
I'm not, just curious what logic they use.

Looking at the transfer rankings. Looks like they use past performance and playing time which I don’t know if that’s the best thing to go by. Alvin Kamara prime example of lack of playing time yet everyone knew he was a highly recruited and talented player and he showed it. Bru I think will be phenomenal in this offense

If you want to see a little bit of what hes capable of then go to youtube and check out the Utah and Oregon games from 2020.
Looks to be a good possession receiver.. not alot video of any deep routes .. middle and sideline routes .. should be physical in the run game .. will be curious to see if can get downfield .. 40 speed ???

Ok I know it’s been asked , is he eligible immediately or does he have to sit? Also is he a one and done ?

If he ends up being a more athletic Juan Jennings type I'm good with that. A 3rd down safety valve is huge. Add in a legit red zone threat.

0.8900 seems low, 3 star...

How does 247 give him that rating when he was originally a 5-star? Did he not perform well at USC?

.89 is a baseline rating. JT Daniels and several other top transfers rated the same.

He was a .99 coming out of high school.

In 6 games he had 21 catches for 236 yards. He'll go off in our offense.

He's an instant starter opposite Tillman and has the most decorated pedigree of anyone on the roster.

Having two really talented 6'3 215-225lb WRs on the outside is gonna be real fun in this offense.

Guys like Hyatt and all the other WRs should also have some opportunities bc of the threat of these two.
Hopefully Hyatt can take on that Javonta Payton role this year with these two on the field.
