'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

Not sure what was unclear about what I wrote. How is this bad for Tillman? Having another experienced receiver on the outside means defenses won’t be able to focus on him as much, likely driving his numbers up.

Definitely a possibility. Also has the big advantage of being familiar with Hooker. Love some good competition. Gotta have it.

Bama seems to get by with 3-4 legit NFL WRs every year. We can too!

I know we joke about being “well spoken” but that might be one of the best interviews I’ve heard in a while. And I loved how he deflected the question about what he wanted to personally accomplish and instead talked about striving for TEAM goals!!

With this NIL and unlimited transfer rule. I am cautiously optimistic with every good recruit or transfer that comes here. Hopefully he stays longer than a minute.

He will probably go pro after 1
He'd have to have one hell of a year to do that. NFL doesn't care what they were rated coming out of HS. They care about production while in college. Bru hasn't been that productive yet. My guess is we'll have him for at least 2 seasons, but if he does put up just outrageous numbers this year, he might very well consider going pro. Either scenario could be good for us.
