eh. in a results oriented business, i think it's fair to say that Pruitt's recruiting wound up being the biggest problem the program had during his short tenure.Apples and oranges now with NIL, but comparing to Heup's first class...yeah he had some success. I'd say at least. Heup's recruiting was underwhelming until recent.
I know some of the players suck, now, but when we landed JJ Peterson people thought he was the next Ray Lewis or something.
what's going on now feels/looks completely different, for a variety of reasons, and Heupel may be the guy that's at the right place at the right time, but it will still be a year or two down the road until we "know".
we "know" about Pruitt at this point.
and if you can look at what pruitt did year 2/3 and still remember being excited about his recruiting, then i can't see how you wouldn't be uber excited about what's going on right now?
