Agree with this --- we should make it public that we are trying to get a college student cleared to play, but cannot due to USC being little butt hurt biotchez...
Guarantee if it goes public and makes USC look bad, they'll fix it quick.

Maybe we should get a local sign company to donate some time on one of those digital signs with a FREE BRU theme and see if we can get some ESPN coverage, we could for sure get it all over the internet. Maybe have a guy sit on top of it until he is cleared.

It might take a peasant revolt to get the attention outside the CONTROL of the AD. Don't guess we want to go down the mattress burning route again, though that did get the attention.

There should be a deadline the former school has to meet for people who transfer out. Not meeting the deadline should result in stiff penalties. They talk about protecting players and doing what's best for them as a student/athlete, it should be that way coming and going.

Why do they have rights AFTER they make the entry into the portal? Is there not a status to be declared by the school at that time? They have 48 to enter the player into the portal after the request to the school's compliance group. As I understand it, the school is off the hook for the scholarship upon entry into the portal, so how does the athlete owe the school anything?

That said, i don't know if this is or is not a portal issue. Might just be a waiver deal since they kicked him off campus for a Title IX inquiry AFTER law enforcement dropped the investigation due to the complainants actions, or lack of. So what can they be claiming that would interfere with the completion of the transfer portal or not?
