'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

I don’t think Lincoln Riley has much of anything to do with this. It’s their AD/administration.

Even if that is the case if your new football coach you pay big bucks too is being dragged through mud with perception of holding a kid back then it gives a sense of urgency to make it go away

This isn’t a thing to anyone else, is it? Is Riley even catching any heat besides from Vol fans/writers?

Someone explain to me why it matters what USC thinks.
if Bru is enrolled in school at UT now, then play him.
what’s the now toothless NCAA gonna say…that he wasn’t declared eligible without a USC release?
why should we care…unless we think this would somehow affect what the NCAA does regarding penalties to us for what happened during the Pruitt error.

If you play an ineligible player, you usually must forfeit wins.

And it matters what USC thinks bc there is a formal process in place where previous school must sign off on waiver.

I love it. Our twitter army is big enough to make this trend. Light the fire boys!

If UT cannot make this public with the media by now with strong confirmation that it is USC holding up the process, then shame on UT--- don't tell me ESPN, SEC Nation, or some other major sports outlet would not love to run a story on how USC won't let a kid play for no reason other than they are butt hurt... Why hasn't Sankey's ass been pushed to reach out? We can certainly make him look bad too if folks find out he was asked to help but refused...
Probably depends on the communication. If the communication is there and they’re letting you know what’s going on but there’s a process then you don’t want to slap them in the face and piss them off. It all depends on the details
